Cleaner composition
Provided is a cleaner composition which causes no malfunction due to clogging even when contained in a pump foamer container, or the like, and repeatedly used, and is excellent in resilience and persistence of foam, and feeling after washing off. The cleaner composition includes a soap that is obtained by neutralizing a higher fatty acid with sodium N-methyltaurate, and a polymer including dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride as a monomer unit and having a molecular weight of 200000 or less.
MICROCAPSULES
The present invention relates to microcapsules comprising a capsule core and a capsule shell wherein the capsule shell comprises a core surrounding layer of a polyvinyl alcohol and an adjacent layer of a polyoxazoline, a process of their production and their use.
COMPOSITIONS FOR SHAPING OR ALTERING THE SHAPE OF HAIR
Disclosed herein is an agent for shaping or altering the shape of hair, such as by straightening or relaxing hair, the agent comprising: A. a hair treatment composition containing an alkaline material selected from a hydroxide-containing compound and a carbonate compound; a cationic polymer selected from a quaternary diammonium polycondensate; an amphoteric polymer selected from a quaternary ammonium compound; an organic solvent, and water; and optionally, B. an activator component; wherein the pH of the composition is equal to or greater than 12 and wherein the weight ratio of (b) to (c) ranges from about 1 up to about 3.
PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING COMPLEXING POLYELECTROLYTES
Compositions of the invention contain, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, a) a cationic polyelectrolyte, b) at least one surfactant; and (c) from about 0.01 to about 1.2 weight percent of an anionic polyelectrolyte, where the weight ratio of the anionic polyelectrolyte to the cationic polyelectrolyte is from about 0.05 to about 1.2, and where the composition exhibits a viscosity change that is below a minimum significant-change-threshold (Δηmin) and exhibits no measurable yield stress or increase in yield stress value when compared to a substantially identical composition that does not contain from about 0.01 to about 1.2 weight percent of the anionic polyelectrolyte, at a weight ratio of anionic polyelectrolyte to cationic polyelectrolyte of from about 0.05 to about 1.2.
Systems for custom coloration
Novel systems and methods for performing treatment (e.g., coloration) of keratinous fibers are disclosed. The methods and systems utilize one or more of a dispensing device which is configured to provide customized composition for treating keratinous fibers (e.g., a coloring composition), optionally formed from tablets; an optical reader, for obtaining sufficient characteristics of the keratinous fibers to make a realistic prediction of the outcome of a treatment (e.g., coloring treatment); a computational units for predicting an outcome of a treatment, optionally being interfaced with the dispensing device and for selecting a customized treatment; and tablet formulations which are useful in preparing customized composition for treating keratinous fibers. Further disclosed are rapidly disintegrating tablets for use in the preparation of compositions for treating keratinous fibers.
DYE COMPOSITION COMPRISING A PARA-PHENYLENEDIAMINE OXIDATION BASE AND AN AMPHOTERIC OR CATIONIC POLYMER IN A MEDIUM RICH IN FATTY SUBSTANCES
The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising: a) at least one oxidation base 3-(2,5-diaminophenyl)-1-propanol and/or acid salts thereof and/or solvates thereof such as hydrates; b) at least one coupler; c) at least one polymer chosen from cationic polymers and amphoteric polymers, and mixtures thereof; d) at least one fatty substance; the total amount of fatty substances being at least 10%, e) optionally at least one basifying agent; and f) optionally at least one chemical oxidizing agent. The invention also relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres such as the hair using the composition of the invention, and to a multi-compartment device for using the composition of the invention.
