SOLID DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A solid detergent composition comprising a cationic polymer (A) and an anionic surfactant (B), wherein the cationic polymer (A) and the anionic surfactant (B) satisfy the following requirement I and requirement II:
Requirement I: a transmittance of a mixed liquid 1 obtained by mixing the cationic polymer (A), the anionic surfactant (B), and water at a weight ratio of 0.5:12:87.5 to light having a wavelength of 655 nm (optical path length: 1 cm, 25 C.) is 95% or more, and
Requirement II: a transmittance of a diluted liquid obtained by mixing the mixed liquid 1 and water at a weight ratio of 1:4 to light having a wavelength of 655 nm (optical path length: 1 cm, 25 C.) is 90% or less.
In vivo bulking agent, injection comprising same, and preparation method therefor
The present invention relates to an in-vivo bulking agent which can be used as a medicinal agent for prevention or treatment of at least one disease selected from the group consisting of urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and gastroesophageal reflux or as a filler for use in a plastic surgery procedure, and to a preparation method therefor. The in-vivo bulking agent can exhibit a bulking effect when injected into the body and particularly, is highly biocompatible because a first composition in which silicone particles are coated with a zwitterionic polymer having a surfactant property is introduced into a second composition, whereby the bulking agent can inhibit inflammatory reactions in vivo.
Composition for reducing the time needed to dry wet hair
A composition and method for reducing the drying time of wet hair by about 20 to about 30 percent includes applying a silicone-free, non-aqueous composition comprising about 90 to about 96 percent by weight of a volatile hydrocarbon mixture comprising C13-C16 isoparaffin, C12-C14 isoparaffin; and C13-C15 alkane; about 2 to about 3 percent by weight of ppg-3 benzyl ether myristate; about 0.001 to about 0.01 percent by weight of a sodium laneth 40-maleate/styrene sulfonate copolymer; and about 0.01 to about 0.5 percent by weight of an emollient mixture comprising isostearic acid, sorbitan oleate, cocoyl hydrolyzed keratin and heat to wet hair, thereby removing from about 85% to about 100% of water added to the hair during washing.
SUNSCREEN OR DAILY CARE COMPOSITION COMPRISING BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE AND INORGANIC UV FILTERS
The present application relates to a sunscreen or daily care composition comprising bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (INCI bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine), titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide.
Inhibiting color fading with layer-by-layer films
The present disclosure relates to methods for inhibiting color fading in hair and for improving the color durability and stability of artificial color of hair. The methods entail forming a layer-by-layer (LbL) film on hair, and optionally forming a cationic surface layer on the LbL film. The LbL film is formed by applying a cationic silane layer on the hair and subsequently applying an anionic polymer layer on the cationic silane. Multiple cationic silane layers and anionic polymer layers can sequentially be added as desired. Finally, the LbL film may comprise a cationic surface layer.
ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING PHOSPHONATE AND ANIONIC GROUP CONTAINING POLYMERS
Disclosed are oral care compositions of phosphonate and sulfonate group containing polymer compositions that have targeted uses with divalent cations and surfaces having divalent cations. These compounds can be used to deliver anionic character to surfaces such as calcium hydroxyapatite.
ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING PHOSPHONO-PHOSPHATE AND ANIONIC GROUP CONTAINING POLYMERS
Disclosed are oral care compositions of novel phosphono-phosphate and anionic group containing polymer compositions that have targeted uses with divalent cations and surfaces having divalent cations. These compounds can be used to deliver anionic character to surfaces such as calcium hydroxyapatite for use in oral care applications.
PECTIN BASED FIRMING SYSTEM FOR ANTIAGING SKIN CARE AND MAKEUPS
A cosmetic composition includes a firming system that includes: a pectin; at least one powder; water; at least one fatty compound; and at least one plasticizer. The firming system when is spreadable and wherein upon drying the firming system forms a firming film that exhibits cohesion and adhesion when applied to a substrate. The pectin may comprise low methoxyl pectin, and the firming system may further include at least one monosaccharide, disaccharide or combination thereof. The composition may include a cosmetic carrier system wherein the firming system and cosmetic carrier system is in the form of liquidous or creamy type emulsion or an oil free serum for application to skin to ameliorate the signs of aging or a viscous liquidous emulsion or suspension for application as a makeup to keratinous tissue selected from skin, lashes and hair to confer firming to the keratinous tissue.
Oral Care Compositions
Aspects of the invention are directed to oral care compositions having enhanced peroxide stability. In accordance with some aspects, provided is an oral care composition having a polyol; a whitening agent comprising a peroxide; a thickening agent; and an abrasive system comprising insoluble phosphate salts, wherein the oral care composition contains less than about 5 wt. % of water, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the oral care composition.
PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITION FOR A KERATIN SUBSTRATE COMPRISING CONDITIONING, COLOR PROTECTING AND STYLING POLYMER
A personal care conditioning, color protecting and/or styling composition for a keratin substrate comprising: (A) at least one conditioning and/or styling ter/tetra polymer obtained from polymerizing: (i) about 0.1 wt. % to 99 wt. % of acrylamidopropyl trimethylammonium chloride (APTAC), a cationic monomer; (ii) about 0.1 wt. % to 30 wt. % of at least one anionic monomer selected from the group consisting of (a) acrylic acid (AA), (b) acrylamido methylpropyl sulfonate (AMPS), and/or (c) sodium methyl allyl sulfonate (SMAS); and (iii) about 0.1 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of methacryloylaminopropyl lauryl-dimethyl ammonium chloride (MAPLDMAC), a hydrophobically modified cationic monomer; (B) at least one cosmetically acceptable excipient; and (C) optionally, at least one effective amount of personal care active ingredient.
