Curvilinear coupling for aircraft turbomachinery
A toothed coupling mechanism for an assembly of rotating elements of an aircraft gas turbine engine includes a pair of coupling halves having an axial toothed coupling interface therebetween. Each coupling half has a plurality of splined teeth inter-engaged about an axis for transmitting torque therebetween. A protrusion is located on one of the splined teeth of one of the coupling halves. A splined tooth of the other coupling half comes into contact with the protrusion in a situation of uncoupling of said coupling halves.
ASSEMBLING FACILITATING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a device for facilitating assembling of a product involving attaching a first surface (5), of a first part, to a second surface (7), of a second part. The device comprises a first unit (9) intended to be embedded in the first surface and a second unit (11) unit intended to be embedded in the second surface, and having a cavity that is open at the second surface. The first unit comprises a piston (17), which is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, where the piston extends out of the first unit. The second unit comprises an activator part that interacts magnetically with the piston such that the piston moves to the extended position, extending into the cavity, when the first and second surfaces are in contact and the first and second openings are aligned.
Component group for joining together vehicle parts
A component group is provided for joining together vehicle parts which have to be aligned, adjusted and fastened relative to one another during assembly. The component group includes at least two components which are fastened to the vehicle parts to be connected together and which are able to be displaced relative to one another and which are able to be fixed to one another after adjustment. A simple, rapid and reliable alignment of vehicle parts relative to one another is permitted.

Self-locking mechanism and paneling
A self-locking mechanism that is attachable to a panel is provided. The mechanism includes a structure defining a void therein. There is also an opening in the structure coinciding with an end of the void. A pin is positioned within the void and a pin head of the pin is positioned at the opening. The pin moves back and forth within the void. The pin moves between a retracted position from within the void and an extended position. A receptacle is also positioned on the structure and oriented at an angle to the opening. The pin head is able to magnetically connect with a second receptacle from a second self-locking mechanism. The pin head or the receptacle, or both, include a magnet.
Apparatus having a fixing device
An apparatus includes at least one first component, at least one second component and a fixing device that, in order to secure the at least one second component to the at least one first component, is arranged between the at least one first component and the at least one second component. The fixing device includes an adjusting unit. The adjusting unit includes at least one adjusting element for setting a fixing force.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HOLDING AND RELEASING A CABLE IN A PIPE SPLITTER
A cable retention and release mechanism includes a cable gripping device including a cable passage. A cable extends through the cable passage. A cable gripping device collar is movably coupled around the cable gripping device. An outer cable gripping device surface is seated against a cable gripping device receiving inner surface preventing movement of the cable gripping device relative to the cable gripping device collar. The cable gripping device receiving inner surface clamps the cable gripping device on the cable and prevents sliding movement of the cable. A jack is movably coupled with the cable gripping device collar. In a first engaged position the jack is engaged against the cable gripping device proximal end. In a second engaged position the jack unseats the outer cable gripping device surface from the cable gripping device receiving inner surface and releases the clamping of the cable.
Reinforcing method and arrangement for foldable furniture
A reinforcing arrangement for reinforcing a joint portion between two support units of a foldable furniture object, comprising a first mounting unit which comprises a first mounting body and a first guiding member outwardly protruded from the first mounting body mounting on the first support unit; a second mounting unit which comprises a second mounting body and a second guiding member or a second guiding groove complimentary to and moveably engaging with the first mounting unit to define a maximum extending angle of movement, thereby the first and second support unit are guided to lock into position at an unfolded position at the maximum extending angle and to unlock at a folded position; and a connecting unit pivotally connecting the first support unit and the second support unit between which the two mounting units are positioned, thereby the joint portion is reinforced.
Radial release device
A release device having a multi-segment split spool with a central bore adapted to axially restrain a tensioned member. A tensioned tape is overlappingly wound around the spool segments thereby preventing radial movement of the spool segments. The overlapping winding allows for a low profile housing for the-release device. The multiple segments require less radial motion for release of the tensioned member.
