BIO-BASED AND BIODEGRADABLE ELASTOMER FOR COSMETIC AND PERSONAL CARE
A polyurethane elastomeric rubber composition containing a bio-based polyol cross-linked with a bio-based isocyanate using a urethanation catalyst such as a bismuth catalyst in the presence of a cosmetic emollient is disclosed. The cross-linked polyurethane elastomer rubber is in further aspect of the invention included in a gel after being milled in the presence of a bio-based emollient or mixture of bio-based emollients. The polyurethane elastomeric gel has good compatibility with cosmetic and natural oils and can be used as a gelling agent for these oils among other desirable cosmetic formulary roles.

Gel for Injection Containing Controlled Degradation Polyester Microspheres
The present invention provides a gel for injection containing controlled degradation polyester microspheres. The gel for injection consists of crosslinked sodium hyaluronate gel, non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate gel, polyester microspheres wrapped with hard fat and a balanced salt solution. The polyester microspheres are separated from water by means of wrapping and hydrophobic effect of the hard fat, and accordingly the present invention solve the problem that polyester materials are prone to degradation in gel. In the meantime, the hard fat has the characteristic of low melting point (melting point being 33° C.-39° C.), after the product is injected into human body, the hard fat is molten and separated under the action of human body temperature, and the wrapped polyester microspheres are released so that the microspheres can be degraded in the human body to achieve controlled degradation.

COMPOSITIONS, KITS AND METHODS FOR STYLING HAIR FIBERS
The present disclosure relates to a method for styling mammalian hair fibers, including providing body, straightening, relaxing, curling, or applying any other desired modification to the shape of the hair. The method comprises applying a hair styling composition comprising at least one thermally-curable polyol monomer to the hair, allowing the monomers to penetrate within the hair and curing such monomers to internally form a polymer able to overcome the tendency of the hair to revert to its native shape. When curing is performed while the hair is in a desired modified shape, the resulting polymers may maintain the modified shape. Suitable compositions and kits allowing to prepare the same are also disclosed.
Cosmetic and dermatological compositions
Cosmetic and dermatological compositions, including color changing compositions, are provided which typically include a plurality of synthetic particles having a size in the micrometer or nanometer range. Each synthetic particle typically includes one or more aggregates of a pigment selected from phenoxazone, phenoxazine, and a derivate or precursor thereof, and a stabilizing material which has a refractive index larger than 1.45; the aggregates having a size larger than about 100 nm and the composition being biodegradable and biocompatible.
