A HYPERBRANCHED POLYGLYCEROL POLYGLYCIDYL ETHER AND ITS USE AS CROSSLINKER FOR POLYSACCHARIDES
The present invention relates to a hyperbranched polyglycerol polyglycidyl ether having a molecular weight from 750 to 15.000 Da; and an epoxy equivalent weight from 183 to 7.000 g/eq. It also relates to a crosslinked polysaccharide obtainable by crosslinking the polysaccharide with the hyperbranched polyglycerol polyglycidyl ether. The present invention also relates to processes for their preparation and their uses in therapy, cosmetic, agriculture and food field.
METHOD FOR DYEING KERATINOUS MATERIAL BY MEANS OF A PREMIX OF AMINOSILICONE AND A CHROMOPHORIC COMPOUND
A process is provided for dyeing keratinous material. The process includes (1) providing an agent (a) that includes (a1) at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer and (a2) at least one colorant compound. The process further includes (2) providing an agent (b) that includes (b1) water and (b2) at least one fat component. The method includes (3) preparing an application mixture by mixing agents (a) and (b) and (4) applying the application mixture to the keratinous material. Further, the method includes (5) exposing the application mixture to the keratinous material and (6) rinsing the application mixture with water.
Water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics
A water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic free of stickiness and oiliness, having semi-transparent or transparent appearance to effect feel of freshness, and able to provide moisturized feel is provided. The water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic contains (a) a solid moisturizer, (b) a polyether-modified silicone, and (c) a silicone oil having a refractive index in the range from 1.380 to 1.420 at 25° C., wherein a moisturizer content is 22 mass % or more relative to the total amount of the cosmetic.
METHOD OF PREPARING A COSMETIC COMPONENT
A method for preparing a cosmetic component is provided which includes applying a layer of a dry cosmetic ingredient between a pair of fibrous sheets obtained by electrospinning one or more polymeric materials at least one of which is capable of cold flow under pressure. Sufficient pressure is then applied to the layers of fibrous sheets to cause cold flow of at least some of the polymeric material such that at least parts of the fibrous sheets bond with each other and entrap the cosmetic ingredient in position between them and prevent it from migrating between the sheets during further processing or handling.
SURFACE-TREATED MAGNESIUM OR CALCIUM ION-CONTAINING MATERIALS AS WHITE PIGMENTS IN ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS
The present application is related to cancer immunotherapy, e.g. stimulation of T cell mediated anti-tumor therapy. Accordingly, described herein are methods of inducing or enhancing an adaptive immune response to a cancer in a subject and methods of treating cancer in a subject. In some embodiments, the methods hyperactivate dendritic cells (DCs), which induce T helper type I (TH1) and cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses in the absence of TH2 immunity.
PRODUCT FOR DYEING KERATINOUS MATERIAL, CONTAINING AMINOSILICONE, A CHROMOPHORIC COMPOUND, PRESERVATIVE AND ETHOXYLATED FATTY ALCOHOL
An agent for dyeing keratinous material is provided. The agent includes at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer and at least one color-imparting compound. Further, the agent includes at least one preservative and at least one non-ionic surfactant from the group of addition products of ethylene oxide and C.sub.8-C.sub.24 fatty alcohols.
