LUBRICATING MEMBERS FOR RAZOR CARTRIDGES COMPRISING A METATHESIZED UNSATURATED POLYOL ESTER

The invention relates to a lubricating member for a razor cartridge comprising a lipid phase comprising a lipophilic structurant and a liquid phase, wherein said liquid phase comprises a metathesized unsaturated polyol ester which can be manufactured in a simple one batch process without thermal degradation and exhibiting improved lubricating and skin care properties over a sustained period.

Compositions, kits, and methods for altering the color of hair

The disclosure relates to hair color base compositions comprising an alkoxylated fatty alcohol, a fatty acid, a fatty alcohol, a buffer system, and optionally a thickening agent and/or colorant compound, hair color altering compositions comprising the hair color base, and kits and methods for altering the color of keratinous fibers such as hair.

FRAGRANCE-CONTAINING MICROPARTICLES

A fragrance-containing microparticle of water-insoluble polymeric material, the polymer having a glass transition temperature of from 0° C. to 50° C. and a zeta potential lying within the ranges −40 mV to −5 mV and +5 mV to +45 mV. The microparticles have enhanced substantivity to hair, resulting in a longer-lasting fragrance.

CREPED SINGLE PLY TISSUE
20230235514 · 2023-07-27 ·

Disclosed are tissue products comprising a single ply tissue web that has been prepared by a creping process and more preferably by a print creping process adapted to dispose a non-crosslinked latex polymer on at least one of the outer surfaces of the tissue web. The creped single ply tissue products generally have a low degree of stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 8.00, and are highly durable, such as a Durability Index greater than about 12.0. In other instances, the tissue products may have very low levels of lint or dust, such as a Slough less than about 4.00 mg, even at basis weights from about 45 to about 55 grams per square meter (gsm) and tensile strengths from 600 to 1,200 g/3″.

ORAL GEL COMPOSITIONS

Disclosed herein are orally acceptable topical analgesic gels comprising a mixture of herbal oils and extracts comprising (a) clove oil and/or eugenol (e.g., clove leaf oil and/or clove bud oil), (b) a cooling agent (e.g., menthol), (c) camphor, (d) an antimicrobial agent, e.g., turmeric and/or curcumin extract (e.g., turmeric, white turmeric (e.g., white curcumin) and (e) licorice; in an orally acceptable gel base, the gel base comprising one or more nonionic surfactants, the formulation providing a sustained release of the mixture of herbal oils and extracts following application to a tooth or gums; together with methods of making and using the same.

Responsive coatings for hair fibers

Cosmetic compositions, systems and methods for conferring responsive durable shaping of keratinous fibers employ at least one shape memory polymer that includes a four-armed branched polyethylene glycol (PEG) based polymer that is functionalized with one or more metal-coordination active groups. The shape memory polymer forms a crosslinked network coating on a substrate, for example a substrate selected from keratinous substrates, for example, hair. Hair coated with the shape memory polymer and treated with an oxidizing agent can be shaped, locked into shape, and reprogrammed by modulation of pH. The coated hair retains durable shaping properties through at least one shampoo treatment. The cosmetic compositions, systems and methods provide durable and reprogrammable durable shaping of the keratinous substrate, for example for styling hair.
