Tube and baffle arrangement in a once-through horizontal evaporator
Disclosed herein is a once-through evaporator comprising an inlet manifold; one or more inlet headers in fluid communication with the inlet manifold; one or more tube stacks, where each tube stack comprises one or more inclined evaporator tubes; the one or more tube stacks being in fluid communication with the one or more inlet headers; where the inclined tubes are inclined at an angle of less than 90 degrees or greater than 90 degrees to a vertical; one or more outlet headers in fluid communication with one or more tube stacks; and an outlet manifold in fluid communication with the one or more outlet headers; and a baffle system comprising a plurality of baffles; the baffle system being disposed adjacent to a tube stack so that the baffle system contacts a tube.
Stain resistant article with olefin block copolymer and process
The present disclosure provides a food contact article. The food contact article includes a polymeric composition composed of a neat olefin block copolymer. The food contact article exhibits a total color change value, E, of less than 20. The polymeric composition provides an article that is suitable for food contact application, the article having softness and stain resistance.
CONNECTOR FOR CONCRETE BARRIERS
Provided are a connector and a connection system for concrete barriers. The connector is configured to slip-fit into a cross-shaped gap formed between the concrete barriers. The connector includes a saddle member and a fork member. The saddle member includes a base plate and peripheral plates. The peripheral plates extend at angles from the base plate to define open ends of the saddle member. The fork member extends below the base plate of the saddle member. The fork member includes an elongated base, flanges, and legs. The elongated base extends between the peripheral plates. The flanges are transverse to the elongated base forming a cross-shaped structure with the flanges that extend toward the open ends of the saddle member. The legs extend separately from the elongated base.
STEERING ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING A TRACK SYSTEM ON A VEHICLE
A steering assembly for supporting a track system on a vehicle includes a steering knuckle, a first member being secured to a top side of the steering knuckle, a second member being secured to a bottom side of the steering knuckle, and a support frame. The support frame has a top portion being secured to the first member, a bottom portion being secured to the second member and being configured to be secured to the track system to support the track system on the vehicle, and a central portion extending between the top portion and the bottom portion of the support frame and being positioned solely on one of the front side and the rear side of the steering knuckle when the steering assembly is in use.
Retaining and anchoring device on a metal plate for fastening a functional support
A retaining and anchoring device forming a retaining and anchoring section on a metal plate on a reflector includes a recess provided in the metal plate. The recess has on an upper face of the metal plate a peripheral edge or edge sections spaced apart from one another. An undercut or several undercut sections are formed below the peripheral edge or the edge sections. The recess is free of bores or passages. A locking device prevents unintentional removal of a snap-on mechanism from the recess beyond an edge section or plural edge sections which cover the undercut section(s).
Aircraft interior equipment component and aircraft interior equipment component system
An aircraft interior equipment component (10) with a frame (12) which comprises two rigid frame sections (14a-h) and a joint (16a-h) connecting the rigid frame sections (14a-h) to one another, and with a sheetlike section (18) which is supported by the frame (12) and is formed by a flexible and/or foldable membrane (20) connected to the frame (12).
Connector for concrete barriers
Connector to slip-fit into a cross-shaped gap between barriers. The barriers are engaged by a lock extending in the gap into slots through sidewalls terminating the barriers. The connector includes a saddle and fork. The saddle includes a base plate and peripheral plates. The base plate is to extend over the gap and partially atop the barriers. The peripheral plates are to be disposed over front and back walls of the barriers. The base plate and peripheral plates define open ends. The fork extends below the base plate and includes a base, flanges, and legs. The base is to he disposed atop the lock between the sidewalls. The flanges are disposed transversely to the base forming a cross-shaped structure to be disposed atop the lock with the flanges extended toward the open ends into the slots. The legs extend separately from the base to straddle the lock between the sidewalls.
Swivel attachment and branch line restraint
A swivel attachment and/or branch line restraint device with angular versatility and mobility for facilitating connection of installation components to support a pipe or other load relative to a support surface is provided. Advantageously, embodiments of the device provide a plurality of rotational or swivel degrees of freedom, which are substantially independently controllable, for its mating portions, which respectively engage corresponding mating portions of other installation components. The device embodiments can desirably be configured in male-female, male-male or female-female arrangements to enhance device utility and/or versatility, thereby advantageously allowing for use in a myriad of applications and installations, such as construction, utilities and the like, among others, to reliably support loads.
Node, Support Frame, System and Method
A node for connecting together at least a first support element, a second support element and a third support element of a support frame such as a solar frame which supports solar reflectors. A method for connecting together at least a first support element, a second support element and a third support element of a solar frame which supports solar reflectors. A system for supporting solar reflectors includes a first support frame upon which the solar reflectors are disposed. A method for forming a support frame for solar reflectors. A system for constructing a support frame from parts, including chords, for solar reflectors. A method for constructing a support frame for solar reflectors. A support frame for solar reflectors.
Modular panel system
A modular panel system including a plurality of posts where each post includes a front face, a rear face, and opposed lateral faces. A central channel is formed in the front face where the central channel has a linking opening, a first ledge and a second ledge. Cutouts are formed in the ledges. The rear face includes a panel receiving channel that receives an edge of a panel. A linking element is configured to be secured in the linking opening. The head of the linking element is sized to fit within the first and the second cutouts and be secured by the first and second ledges to couple the first post to the second post. The lateral faces of the coupled posts together form a first side central channel and a first side central channel cutout that is configured to receive a second linking element to couple a third post to the coupled first and second posts.
