PROTECTIVE FILM, ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING SAME, AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING PROTECTION FILM
An electronic device includes a flexible display module, a window on the flexible display module, and a protective base film on the window, and having a first modulus at a first temperature and a second modulus lower than the first modulus at a second temperature 80° C. higher than the first temperature, wherein the difference between the first modulus and the second modulus may be no greater than about 985 MPa.
Haptic adhesive article and a method of forming the same
An adhesive article includes a polymeric layer, a haptic layer disposed adjacent a first major surface of the polymeric layer, and an adhesive layer disposed adjacent a second major surface of the polymeric layer. The haptic layer includes a predetermined amount of at least one release agent. A method of forming the adhesive article includes providing the polymeric layer, disposing the haptic layer over and directly on the polymeric layer, and disposing the adhesive layer over and directly on the polymeric layer opposite the haptic layer.
Three-dimensional adhesive device having a microelectronic system embedded therein
A three-dimensional adhesive device to be attached to the body surface of a mammal including a microelectronic sensing system. The system includes (a) a three-dimensional adhesive body made of a pressure sensitive adhesive having an upper surface and a bottom surface; (b) a microelectronic system embedded in the body of the pressure sensitive adhesive; (c) one or more cover layer(s) attached to the upper surface; and (d) optionally a release liner releasably attached to the bottom surface. Suitably the microelectronic system is capable of sensing physical input such as pressure, vibration, sound, electrical activity (e,g. from muscle activity), tension, blood-flow, moisture, temperature, enzyme activity, bacteria, pH, blood sugar, conductivity, resistance, capacitance, inductance or other chemical, biochemical, biological, mechanical or electrical purposes.
ANTI-CURLING REINFORCEMENT DEVICE FOR AREA RUG CORNERS
An anti-curling reinforcement device can be applied to corners of a rug, such as an area rug, to prevent the corners from curling. By adhering to the underside of the rug, and not the floor, the anti-curling reinforcement device does not damage the floor as may occur with double-sided carpet tape. The device utilizes a specially designed shape and structure that straightens and reinforces the corner to prevent further curling and possible damage to the rug. The device straightens, reinforces and adds weight to the rug corner to prevent curling, keeping the corner flat, and preventing possible damage to the rug as well as minimizing tripping hazards from curled corners.
Repulpable, recyclable, compostable and biodegradable reinforcement elements and paper reinforced tapes, and containers including the same
The paper reinforced tapes and reinforcement elements of this invention have improved repulpability, recyclability, compostability and biodegradability. Further, these reinforcement elements and paper reinforced tapes, despite being predominately paper, unexpectedly provide excellent container reinforcement properties and further can be used as opening tapes, closing tapes, tear tapes and carrying handles.
Resealable reclosure label with integral hinge
Techniques regarding a reclosure label are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a reclosure label that includes a flap portion connected to a label base. Further, the flap portion can comprise a rigid material layer. Additionally, the reclosure label can comprise a flexible material layer that is integral with the flap portion and the label base and forms a hinge portion that enables the flap portion to pivot with respect to the label base. Moreover, the rigid material layer can be absent from the hinge portion.
FIBERBOARD SURFACE PROTECTION SYSTEM
A surface protector system for protecting selected portions of floor surfaces, wherein the system includes first and second surface protectors that are connected together to form a dust-proof connection between the first and second surface protectors.
Double pass process of making a self adhering roofing membrane with improved adhesion at lower installation temperature
A self-adhering roofing membrane may include a polymeric membrane. The roofing membrane may include a first adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the polymeric membrane. The first adhesive layer may include one or both of a hot melt adhesive and a butyl rubber-based adhesive. The roofing membrane may include a UV curable adhesive layer disposed on the first adhesive layer. The UV curable adhesive layer may have a thickness of less than about 4 mils.
APPARATUS TO PREVENT CURLING OF A RUG CORNER
An apparatus to prevent curling of a rug corner. The apparatus includes a rigid and planar V-shaped body having a top surface and a bottom surface. A hook-and-pile fastener detachably secures the body and rug together. The body maintains the rug corner in a flat condition thus preventing any curling of the rug.
DISTRIBUTION CABLING TAPE, SYSTEM AND TAPE APPLICATION DEVICE
A distribution cabling tape system comprises a resilient polymeric base sheet having a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface being substantially continuous across a side to side width, an adhesive layer disposed on the first major surface, the adhesive layer capable of adhering to a concrete or asphalt surface, and first and second spacer layers arranged in a spaced apart configuration on the adhesive layer to form a continuous lengthwise channel configured to receive at least a portion of at least one distribution cable, each of the first and second spacer layers comprising a second adhesive layer disposed thereon, the second adhesive capable of adhering to a concrete or asphalt surface.
