An insulated HVAC duct component such as a transition box includes a first insulation layer and a second, different insulation layer. The transition box includes at least four sidewalls and one of a top and a back wall, the transition box further including a first access port and a second access port, the first access port having a different cross section than the second access port, one of the access ports being spaced from a nearest sidewall by less than 2 inches. The first insulation layer is located along an inside surface of the box. The second different insulation layer overlies the first insulation layer, the second different insulation layer having an air impervious surface, wherein the combined thickness of the first insulation layer and the second different insulation layer is less than 2 inches.

A first non-adhesive strip layer placed over the gap, a tearing thread located on the first non-adhesive strip layer; and a second non-adhesive strip layer located on top of the tearing thread and the first non-adhesive strip layer.

A masking tape may be used for covering a masking area. The masking tape includes a plurality of masking devices coupled together. Each masking device includes a perimeter and an adhesive layer. Each masking device is coupled to at least two laterally adjacent masking devices at given connection points along the perimeter. Each connection point is weak relative to the masking devices. The adhesive layer couples each masking device to a lower adjacent masking device.

Self-laminating rotating cable marker with breakaway portion

A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

A continuous roll of wrapping material for crops such as baled cotton wherein wrapping segments are set off by spaced transverse lines of slits or scoring for predictable separation during the wrapping process. Protection of the transverse lines and sealing assistance may be included by the addition of an adhesive layer and a V-fold over the transverse lines.

PLASTER BOARDS HAVING INTERNAL LAYERS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THEM

Disclosed herein are plaster boards that include first and second layers of hardened plaster material, a liner attached to the first layer of hardened plaster material, and a first material (e.g., a polymer material such as a viscoelastic polymer) adhered between the liner and the second layer of hardened plaster material. The liner includes one or more structurally weakened regions each extending substantially from a first edge to a second opposing edge of the plaster board. The structurally weakened regions of the liner may facilitate creation of a fissure that propagates substantially within a plane within the plaster board. Methods for making the plaster boards may involve drying wet plaster material while it is in contact with a liner having structurally weakened regions, processing a liner to form its structurally weakened regions while in contact with wet plaster material, or processing a liner to form its structurally weakened regions while in contact with hardened plaster material.

The present invention relates to a process for cutting and separating interior contours in thin substrates of transparent materials, in particular glass. The method involves the utilization of an ultra-short pulse laser to form perforation or holes in the substrate, that may be followed by use of a CO.sub.2 laser beam to promote full separation about the perforated line.
