Sealed structure, light-emitting device, electronic device, and lighting device
A sealed structure with high sealing capability, in which a pair of substrates is attached to each other with a glass layer is provided. The sealed structure has a first and second substrates, a first surface of the first substrate facing a first surface of the second substrate, and the glass layer which is in contact with the first and second substrates, defines a space between the first and second substrates, and is provided along the periphery of the first surface of the first substrate. The first substrate has a corner portion. The area of the first surface of the first substrate is smaller than or equal to that of the first surface of the second substrate. In at least one of respective welded regions between the glass layer and the first or second substrate, the width of the corner portion is larger than that of the side portion.
Solid freeform fabrication of shelled objects
A method of layerwise solid freeform fabrication is disclosed. The method comprises, for each of at least a few of the layers, dispensing and hardening at least a first modeling material and a second modeling material to form a core region and one or more envelope regions at least partially surrounding the core region. In some embodiments, the ratio between the elastic moduli of adjacent regions, when hardened, is from about 1 to about 20.
EDGE BARRIER FILM FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
In some embodiments, a first product is provided. The first product may include a substrate, a device having a device footprint disposed over the substrate, and a barrier film disposed over the substrate and substantially along a side of the device footprint. The barrier film may comprise a mixture of a polymeric material and non-polymeric material. The barrier film may have a perpendicular length that is less than or equal to 3.0 mm from the side of the device footprint.
Bedding and bedding cover sheet
A bedding includes: a cushion layer which is formed with a filament three-dimensional bonded member and which is breathable; a breathable water-repellent layer which is provided on the upper side of the cushion layer and which is breathable and water-repellent; and a breathable water-retentive layer which is provided on the upper side of the breathable water-repellent layer and which is water-retentive and is breathable during water retention.
Tubular venting device for surgical casts and other orthopedic devices
Described is a venting device including a flexible outer covering defining an outer surface and an inner surface, a set of helicoidal venting strips, and a set of helicoidal buffers. The outer covering has a first end and a second end and a longitudinal axis therebetween. Each venting strip is anchored to the inner surface and extends substantially between the first end and the second end and the set of venting strips is arranged substantially helicoidal and defines a set of helicoidal seams therebetween. The set of helicoidal buffers includes a buffer covering an inner opening of each seam of the set of helicoidal seams where each buffer is configured to shield the inner opening of the corresponding seam from penetration and each buffer is anchored to at least one of the outer covering and a neighbouring venting strip of the set of venting strips.
Sensor device, method of manufacturing sensor device, and vehicle seat
A sensor device has an insulative non-woven fabric and a conductive fabric forming an electrode. The conductive fabric is joined to one surface of the non-woven fabric by at least one of fusion and seaming.
