Fire-resistant pane and fire-resistant glazing assembly
A fire-resistant pane including at least one float glass pane with a tin bath side, at least one protective layer that is arranged on the tin bath side in a planar manner, and at least one fire-resistant layer that is arranged on the protective layer in a planar manner, wherein the protective layer contains metal oxide, metal nitride, metal silicide, and/or mixtures or layered compounds thereof.
Moulding machine and process for forming a mould
A molding machine comprises first and second non-complementary molds (20a, 20b). The first mold (20a) defines a female mold cavity (36). The second mold (20b) defines a flat molding surface (30). The first and second molds (20a, 20b) are movable between a first position in which the molds are apart and the female mold cavity (36) and the flat molding surface (30) both face upwards, and a second position in which the molds are brought together and the flat molding surface faces into and closes the female mold cavity to form a completely enclosed cavity. Each mold (20a, 20b) has a plurality of bores (22) formed through it and with an opening (24) at each end. At least two of the bores (22) are connected to each other by a block (38) positioned over the opening at one end of one bore and the opening at the end of another bore. The block (38) is formed with a groove (40) which connects the openings to each other.
Belt including fibers
A belt for an elevator system and a method for making the same is provided. The belt includes a plurality of tension members that extend along a length of the belt and a jacket. The jacket substantially retains the plurality of tension members. The jacket maintains a desired spacing and alignment of the tension members relative to each other. The jacket includes a plurality of first fibers and a plurality of second fibers. The jacket defines at least one exterior, traction surface of the belt. The first fibers are at least partially disposed between the tension members and the traction surface of the belt. The second fibers are fill fibers. The first fibers have at least one property that distinguishes them from the second fibers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRIMARILY ERECTING CURVILINEAR BUILDINGS USING A PLURALITY OF INTERCONNECTED STRUCTURAL TUBES/SANDWICH PANELS
A system and method for primarily erecting curvilinear buildings using a plurality of interconnected structural tubes/sandwich panels is provided. Fabricating structural tubing comprises: connecting a fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a flexible outer membrane, wherein the lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam material when cured; and curing the curable material. Fabricating a sandwich panel comprises: connecting a first fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a first flexible outer membrane, wherein the first lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam when cured; connecting a second fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a second flexible outer membrane, wherein the second lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam when cured; and curing the curable material of the first lining and second linings.
Insulating sealing element for head-of-wall joints
An insulating strip is disclosed. The insulating strip includes a support layer and an insulating material strip secured to the support layer. The insulating material strip includes a first insulating material strip part and a second insulating material strip part where the first insulating material strip part and the second insulating material strip part are spaced apart from each other.
Textile product
A textile product (1) comprising individual elements (4) interconnected by a textile technique, characterized in that the interconnected individual elements (4) hold at least one decorative or functional element (2, 2, 2, 12, 12, 22) between each other, e.g. by braiding in or braiding around.

RESIN MOLDED BODY
A part of the sealed surface of the thermosetting resin member is a non-roughened surface that is not subjected to a roughening treatment. The other part of the sealed surface is a roughened surface recessed from the non-roughened surface to form a step and more roughened than the non-roughened surface. The thermoplastic resin member includes an additive added thereto, and the additive contains a functional group. A functional group existing in the roughened surface and the functional group existing in the additive are chemically bonded together. The roughened surface has a closed-circular shape that is formed over an entire circumference of the sealed surface around an axis parallel to the first direction. The three or more roughened surfaces each having a closed-circular shape on the sealed surface are arranged along the first direction with the non-roughened surface interposed as a distance between each adjacent two of the roughened surfaces.
Aircraft interior panels and methods of panel fabrication
A multifunctional fully integral panel system design, a unique material configuration, and a process for fabricating a net shape (or nearly net shape) panel in one production cycle. The panel may comprise a base facing with an outer perimeter, a decorative film applied to the exterior of the base facing, an aft facing having an outer perimeter fused to the base facing, and a reinforcement core disposed between the unfused portions of the base and aft facings, which reinforcement core also acts as acoustic insulation (i.e., a noise attenuator). Alternatively or additionally, a foam core or blanket having thermal and/or acoustic insulation properties is attached to the external surface of the aft facing. The fabrication process involves the application of different heat treatments to panel components having different forming temperature or rubbery/elastic plateaus.
