Method of manufacturing a continuous hot dip coated steel strip and hot dip coated steel sheet
A method of manufacturing a hot dip coated steel strip, wherein coating takes place by leading the strip through a bath of molten metal including Al, the remainder of the metal being Zn, inevitable impurities and optionally a maximum of 0.3% of one or more additional elements, wherein the composition of the bath is controlled so as to have an aluminium content of more than 0.50%.
Fibrous Structures and Methods for Making Same
Fibrous structures that exhibit a novel combination of properties and to methods for making such fibrous structures are provided.
Self adhesive fouling release coating composition
A multilayer self-adhesive fouling release coating composition includes an optional removable underlying liner; an adhesive layer applied over and to the optional underlying liner when the latter is present; and a synthetic material layer applied over and to the adhesive layer. Optionally, an intermediate silicone tie coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer. A silicone fouling release top coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer, or, when present, over and to the intermediate silicone tie coat. Optionally, a removable polymeric film is applied over and to the fouling release top coat.
Hot-stamped body
There is provided a hot-stamped body including: a steel base metal; and a metallic layer formed on a surface of the steel base metal, wherein the metallic layer includes: an interface layer that contains, in mass %, Al: 30.0 to 36.0%, has a thickness of 100 nm to 5 μm, and is located in an interface between the metallic layer and the steel base metal; and a principal layer that includes coexisting MgZn.sub.2 phases and insular FeAl.sub.2 phases, is located on the interface layer, and has a thickness of 3 μm to 40 μm.
Hot-pressed steel sheet member and method for producing same
Disclosed is a hot-pressed steel sheet member having a tensile strength of 1780 MPa or more and excellent bending collapsibility. The hot-pressed steel sheet member includes: a specific chemical composition; a microstructure in which an average grain size of prior austenite grains is 8 μm or less, a volume fraction of martensite is 90% or more, and a solute C content is 25% or less of a total C content; and a tensile strength of 1780 MPa or more.
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having excellent low-temperature adhesion and workability
Provided is a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having excellent low-temperature adhesion and workability, and a manufacturing method therefor, the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet comprising: an inhibition layer formed on a base steel sheet and comprising an Fe—Al-based intermetallic alloy phase; a hot-dip galvanized layer formed on the inhibition layer; and an Al—Mn-based alloy phase discontinuously formed between the inhibition layer and the hot-dip galvanized layer.
AN ALLOY INJECTION MOLDED LIQUID METAL SUBSTRATE
Examples of an alloy injection molded liquid metal substrate are described. In an example, an alloy injection molded liquid metal substrate includes a liquid metal substrate and an alloy injection molded on a first surface of the liquid metal substrate.
Colored stainless steel plate and colored stainless steel coil
A color coating layer is formed on the surface of a stainless steel plate by a chemical coloring method or an electrolytic coloring method. Thereafter, a colored stainless steel plate having the color coating layer is cold-rolled, the thickness of the color coating layer is adjusted to between 0.05 μm and 1.0 μm, and an entire plate thickness is adjusted to 0.5 mm or less. By the cold rolling a Vickers hardness Hv is between 250 and 550 to form a deformed band. As surface roughness, an arithmetic average roughness Ra is adjusted to between 0.05 μm and 5.0 μm. In this manner, the strength and rigidity of a thin colored stainless steel plate can be secured, and a color stainless steel plate and a colored stainless steel coil which do not easily cause galling and are excellent in press moldability can be obtained.
Zinc alloy plated steel material having excellent surface quality and corrosion resistance
Provided is a plated steel material which can be used for an automobile, a household appliance, a building material, and the like and, more specifically, to a zinc alloy plated steel material having excellent surface quality and corrosion resistance, and a method for manufacturing the same.
Anti-glare film
An anti-glare film is attached on a surface of a display, and includes an anti-glare layer. The anti-glare layer is set to have a sparkle value of 10 or less, which is defined based on a value of a standard deviation of luminance distribution of the display under a state in which the anti-glare film is attached on the surface of the display, a value of specular gloss of 40% or less, which is measured with 60-degree specular gloss, and a value of transmission image clarity of 40% or less, which has an optical comb of 0.5 mm. Consequently, satisfactory anti-glare property can be provided while appropriately suppressing sparkle on the display.
