Flexible corner trim product
A trim piece for sealing a work surface including a body having a first side, a second side, and a span disposed between the first side and the second side, wherein the first side and the second side are joined at a junction defining an angle between the first side and the second side of between 80 degrees and 100 degrees, a topcap is affixed to the span of the body, wherein the topcap includes a left side having a first wing and a right side having a second wing, an adhesive is bonded to the first side of the body and an aperture is disposed within the body.
Glove with dry-adhesive and dry-non-adhesive micro-wedges
A glove with gecko-inspired dry adhesives is provided to greatly reduce the required grasp force on heavy, smooth items. The orientation of the gecko adhesives is designed to increase shear forces between the glove and the object when lifting and manipulating. The invention additionally equips the non-gripping surfaces of the glove (e.g. back and sides) with a non-adhesive microstructure that prevents the glove from accidently adhering to surfaces during unintentional contact, even when touching otherwise sticky materials such as adhesive-coated automotive panels.
Conductive Adhesive Sheet
Provided is a conductive adhesive sheet that has excellent connection stability even containing conductive particles in a small proportion. The inventive conductive adhesive sheet contains a binder component and conductive particles. The conductive particles are distributively arranged. Assume that all the conductive particles are regularly arranged; and that an optional region of the conductive adhesive sheet is viewed in plan view so that a distribution number Np of the distributed conductive particles be 9 to 25, a condition: 1.5X≤Y≤100X is met, where X represents the average of equivalent circle diameters of the distributed conductive particles; and Y represents the center-to-center distance between adjacent two of the distributed conductive particles, which are regularly arranged in the plan view. The ratio N/Np is 1.0 to 100.0, where N represents the number of the primary particles in the optional region. When optional three unique regions including the optional region are viewed in plan view so that the distribution number Np in each region be 9 to 25, the ratio Ng/Np is 0.8 to 1.0, where Ng represents the distribution number of conductive particles present in two or more of the three regions.
Haptic adhesive article and a method of forming the same
An adhesive article includes a polymeric layer, a haptic layer disposed adjacent a first major surface of the polymeric layer, and an adhesive layer disposed adjacent a second major surface of the polymeric layer. The haptic layer includes a predetermined amount of at least one release agent. A method of forming the adhesive article includes providing the polymeric layer, disposing the haptic layer over and directly on the polymeric layer, and disposing the adhesive layer over and directly on the polymeric layer opposite the haptic layer.
LABEL INCLUDING A REMOVABLE PORTION CAPABLE OF FORMING A SEPARATE ARTICLE
A label including a separable article for use. The label includes a first portion adapted to be affixed to an article, and a second portion adapted to be separated from the first portion and removed from the remainder of the label. The second portion may be defined by at least one feature that facilitates removal of the second portion. And the second portion is capable of being formed into a second article following separation from the first portion, and may include an interior space capable of receiving a material therein or therethrough. The label including portion for forming a separable article may be formed in an inline process.
DRY ADHESIVE COMPRISING A SHAPE MEMORY POLYMER FOR ATTACHMENT TO A FLEXIBLE ADHEREND
A dry adhesive for attachment to a flexible adherend comprises a shape memory polymer having a glass transition temperature (T.sub.g) above 25° C. and a compliant backing layer attached to the shape memory polymer. The shape memory polymer is configured to form a conformal and/or hermetic contact with a flexible adherend at temperatures at or above the T.sub.g and to retain the conformal and/or hermetic contact during flexing of the flexible adherend at temperatures below the T.sub.g
ADHESIVE RESIN COMPOSITION AND LAMINATE
Provided are an adhesive resin composition having high adhesiveness and high strength in acid resistance, and a laminate including the same. Provided is an adhesive resin composition including an acid-modified polyolefin resin component (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 30,000 or more and 150,000 or less, a resin component (B) having an epoxy group in a molecule, a resin component (C) having an amino group at a molecular end, and a solvent (5), in which a content of the resin component (B) is 1 part by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the acid-modified polyolefin resin component (A), and a content of the resin component (C) is 0.5 parts by mass or more and 15 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the acid-modified polyolefin resin component (A).
THERMALLY BONDABLE ADHESIVE TAPE BACKING
The disclosed thermally bondable adhesive tape backing has a pressure-sensitive adhesive at a surface and a thermoplastic polyurethane adhesive at an opposite surface for thermal bonding to a device. The thermoplastic polyurethane adhesive softens and melts at a relatively low temperature. Therefore, melting of thermoplastic polyurethane adhesive is achieved while the pressure-sensitive adhesive remains in place and is not pressed away at the region of the thermal bonding.
Molded resin product
A molded resin product includes a design layer including a decorative layer having a first color, a shielding layer having a second color different from the first color, and a resin base layer. A cover layer formed of a polymer film is disposed close to one end of the design layer. Part of the decorative layer exposed from the shielding layer serves as an exposed region. The exposed region and part of the shielding layer constitute a pattern portion presenting a predetermined figure or character when viewed in plan through the cover layer. The rest of the shielding layer constitutes a base portion. The layer thickness of the base portion is set smaller than the layer thickness of the pattern portion in a region thereof where the shielding layer is formed.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet
Provided is a PSA sheet capable of suitably preventing bubble formation caused by outgassing. This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a PSA layer that forms an adhesive face. In an aging test where the adhesive face is press-bonded to a glass plate and stored at 50° C. for 24 hours, the PSA sheet has at least 5% post-aging non-bonding area Sa, with Sa defined as the ratio of all areas non-bonding to the glass plate relative to the total area of the adhesive face. The non-bonding areas have parts linearly extending along the adhesive face.
