A second welding tip removal member is coupled to the sixth moving member.

NUMERICAL CONTROL DEVICE

A numerical control device includes: a tool-side displacement measurement unit; a workpiece-side displacement measurement unit; a drive signal measurement unit; a relative displacement calculation unit between the tool and the workpiece; a relative displacement prediction unit calculating a relative displacement predicted value from the drive signal, from a prediction model representing a relationship between the drive signal and the relative displacement; a model parameter operation unit generating prediction model parameters constituting the prediction model, from the drive signal, the relative displacement, and the predicted value; and a command value correction unit outputting a post-correction position command obtained by correcting a position command to the drive unit using the prediction model parameters. The model parameter operation unit changes the prediction model parameters to reduce a difference between the relative displacement and the predicted value.

Method and apparatus for exchanging nozzles and tips for a fluid dispensing system

A method and apparatus for attaching a nozzle to a fluid dispensing system and a tip to the nozzle. In one illustrative example, the fluid dispensing system may be moved by a robotic device towards a nozzle retaining structure having nozzle retaining areas holding nozzles. A nozzle may be selected for use based on a nozzle identifier element corresponding to each of the nozzles. The robotic device may move the fluid dispensing system to the nozzle selected to attach the fluid dispensing system to the nozzle selected. Further, the fluid dispensing system may be moved by a robotic device towards a tip retaining structure having tip retaining areas holding tips. A tip may be selected for use based on a tip identifier element corresponding to each of the tips. The robotic device may move the fluid dispensing system to the tip selected to attach the nozzle to the tip selected.

Apparatuses for applying glutinous substances

An apparatus for delivering a glutinous substance from a cartridge to an applicator comprises a sleeve and a pressure-cap assembly. The pressure-cap assembly comprises a pressure cap, proximate an inlet of the sleeve. The pressure-cap assembly also comprises an actuator, coupled to the pressure cap and to the sleeve. The apparatus further comprises an automated coupler, configured to automatically reversibly sealingly couple the applicator with the leading end of the cartridge.

Combined machining apparatus having a laser machining head

A combined machining apparatus includes a tool holder, a first automatic exchanger capable of containing at least one laser machining head and mounting the at least one laser machining head on the tool holder, and a second automatic exchanger capable of containing at least one mechanical machining tool and mounting the at least one mechanical machining tool on the tool holder.

Method and assembly for docking and retrieving a filament holding device
10464178 · 2019-11-05 ·

A docking assembly for docking and retrieving a filament holding device includes a motor casing rod defining a recess, filament holders and docking stations. Each filament holder defines a filament receiver channel for receiving the rod and a stop member that is selectively engaged with the recess of the rod, thus coupling a filament holder to the rod for retrieval of the filament holder. Each docking station includes a deployment latch operable to rotate when the rod is inserted into the docking receiver channel so that the deployment latch urges the stop member to the deployed configuration for coupling together the rod and the filament holder. Thus, a filament holder is captured for removal from the docking station. The docking apparatus includes a release lever that operates in reverse of the deployment latch so as to release a filament holder from the rod back to its docking station.

Systems and apparatuses for loading and unloading brushes to and from end-effector

An apparatus for loading and unloading a brush to and from a brush-arm assembly of an end-effector is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a base and a carriage, which is movable along an axis at least to a first position, a second position, or a third position relative to the base. The carriage comprises a brush receptacle, configured to prevent movement of the brush in a first direction, but not in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, when the brush is placed in the brush receptacle. The apparatus also comprises a stationary component, fixed relative to the base and configured to prevent movement of the brush-arm assembly in the second direction. Additionally, the apparatus comprises a linear actuator, configured to move the carriage.
