Pressure vessel and pressure-vessel manufacturing method
A pressure vessel includes a liner including a cylindrical body and a dorm portion continuous with at least one end of the body in an axial direction and includes a reinforced fiber sheet covering an outer side of the liner and made of fabric. The reinforced fiber sheet includes first yarns arranged on the body and the dorm portion such that yarn main axes of the first yarns extend in the circumferential direction of the liner and second yarns arranged on the body and the dorm portion such that yarn main axes of the second yarns extend in the axial direction of the liner. A total number of the first yarns or the second yarns that exist per unit length in the axial direction of the liner is smaller in the dorm portion than in the body.
INSULATION SUPPORT AND LIQUID HYDROGEN STORAGE CONTAINER CONTAINING THE INSULATION SUPPORT FOR AUTOMOTIVE
The present disclosure provides an insulation support that is disposed in a vacuum space between an inner container and an outer container of a liquid hydrogen storage container composed of the inner container and the outer container, and supports the inner container, in which the insulation support has a first end being in contact with the inner container and a second end being in contact with the outer container, and is bent several times into several layers; and an automotive liquid hydrogen storage container including the insulation support.
Method for manufacturing high-pressure tank
A method for manufacturing a high-pressure tank including a liner that stores gas and a reinforcing layer made of a fiber-reinforced resin and covering an outer surface of the liner includes: a first step of forming a cylinder member made of the fiber-reinforced resin; a second step of forming two dome members made of the fiber-reinforced resin; and a third step of forming a reinforcing body that is the reinforcing layer by joining both end portions of the cylinder member and end portions of the two dome members, respectively. The first step includes forming the cylinder member by winding a release material around a mandrel and winding the fiber-reinforced resin on the release material.
Process and system for steel and hydrogen production using recycled ferrous scrap and natural gas
A method for producing a homogenous molten composition and a fluid product is disclosed. For example, the method includes producing a first molten metal composition in an enclosed volume, contacting a hydrocarbon reactant with the first molten metal composition, decomposing the hydrocarbon reactant into at least one fluid product and carbon, forming a metal alloy from a mixture of the carbon and the first molten metal composition, and separating a homogenous second molten composition from the metal alloy.
Hydrogen fueling systems and methods
According to aspects, hydrogen fueling systems and methods are provided, including vehicle-to-vehicle communication techniques, hydrogen cooling techniques and/or hydrogen dispenser control techniques that facilitate improving aspects of a hydrogen fueling station.
Boss structure sealing experiment device and system for IV type hydrogen storage cylinder, and test method
A boss structure sealing experiment device for an IV type hydrogen storage cylinder. The device includes a high-pressure chamber, a sealing leakage structure, a cylinder mouth valve, and a low-pressure chamber, where the high-pressure chamber, the sealing leakage structure, and the low-pressure chamber are tightly connected to one another through flange bolts, and the cylinder mouth valve is tightly connected to the high-pressure chamber through threads. Further disclosed is a sealing experiment system. The system includes a boss structure sealing experiment device, a high-pressure gas supply device, and a leaked gas detection device. The high-pressure gas supply device consists of a hydrogen source, a compressor, a buffer tank, a valve, and a pressure gauge; and the leaked gas detection device consists of a gas mixing chamber, a carrier gas, and a gas leakage detector. Further disclosed is a test method for a boss structure sealing experiment.
PRESSURE VESSEL
Provided is a pressure vessel capable of adapting a release direction of gas in the pressure vessel (i.e., release-permitted direction) and a direction in which the gas in the pressure vessel should not be released (i.e., release-restricted direction) to an attitude of a vehicle or a surrounding environment. A release direction control unit is configured to variably change, with respect to the pressure vessel, a release direction of gas as a pressure relief valve opens, and without depending on an attitude of the pressure vessel, release the gas stored in the pressure vessel as the pressure relief valve opens (only) in the release-permitted direction set in advance with respect to a gravity direction, not in the release-restricted direction set in advance with respect to the gravity direction.
CARBON-FIBER FUEL TANK
A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a vehicle propulsion system. The vehicle propulsion system includes a fuel tank having a nozzle and a tank body. The tank body is made, at least in part, from carbon fiber materials. A method of producing a carbon fiber component for the vehicle is also described.
Flushable pressure vessel
A pressure vessel with a flushing lance, a transport container with pressure vessels and methods of filling and producing this pressure vessel are disclosed which comprises an inner vessel, an outer layer applied on the inner vessel, a valve connection piece arranged on one of the terminal caps of the inner vessel and a hollow flushing lance that is open to the outside and is guided through the valve connection piece and held therein in a sealing manner, wherein the flushing lance protrudes into the storage volume and is provided with a perforation along its entire length up to a first end of the flushing lance facing the terminal cap that lies opposite the valve connection piece in the storage volume for a gas exchange with the storage volume, wherein the flushing lance extends to the terminal cap which lies opposite the valve connection piece.
Valve device
A valve device includes a body, a joint, a check valve, a valve seat fixation member having an outer peripheral surface on which an external thread is provided, and a sealing member. The body has an attachment hole that attaches the joint and the valve seat fixation member from an outside of the body in a sequence of the joint and the valve seat fixation member, and that has an inner peripheral surface in which an internal thread screwed to the external thread of the valve seat fixation member is provided. The sealing member is provided between the joint and the valve seat fixation member. An outer peripheral edge of the sealing member is located radially inward of a screwed region of the internal thread and the external thread.
