Accordingly, the method may include receiving, using a communication device, transportation data associated with transportation of at least one recyclable item from at least one first device. Further, the method may include analyzing, using a processing device, the transportation data. Further, the method may include determining, using the processing device, a carbon value associated with the transportation of the at least one recyclable item based on the analyzing. Further, the method may include generating, using the processing device, a net CO.sub.2e offset associated with the at least one recyclable item based on the carbon value. Further, the method may include storing, using a storage device, the net CO.sub.2e offset associated with the at least one recyclable item in a distributed ledger.

A computer-implemented system and method provide a privacy preserving token generation protocol. The method comprises initiating an order request, where the order request includes order public information and order private information. The method further comprises generating an address in a blockchain network that includes encrypting the address using a private key, and generating a hash of data incorporating the order private information and a signature of the hash. The signature of the hash is generated using the private key. The method further comprises transmitting the order request with the address, hash, and signature to a transport associated with the order, and identifying that the transport fulfilled the order request. The method further comprises validating that the transport fulfilled the order, calculating a token value associated with the transport, where the token value is related to a carbon emission footprint of the transport, and assigning the token value to the address.
ELECTRIC ENERGY AND CARBON EMISSION MEASUREMENT ACCOUNTING METHOD BASED ON DIGITAL PAYMENT WALLET AND BLOCKCHAIN
Disclosed in the present application is an electric energy and carbon emission measurement accounting method based on a digital payment wallet and a blockchain. Automatic measurements on power generation capacity (electricity supply data) and power consumption (electricity consumption data) of a regional power distribution network are performed by the blockchain in combination with the digital payment wallet. Problems about establishment, authentication, and right confirmation of a digital identity of a smart meter are resolved. An accounting value of carbon emission from energy consumption of an intra-regional energy network is generated by subtracting an electric energy consumption value from an intra-regional electric energy supply value, and intra-regional carbon emission is measured based on the accounting value of the carbon emission from the energy consumption of the intra-regional energy network. A problem that the carbon emission cannot be accurately traced back by an amount of consumed electric energy is resolved.

The controller is configured to output information regarding a configuration of the power generation apparatus and/or the storage battery.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED AGGREGATION OF CARBON OFFSETS
A method for accounting for carbon offsets realized by energy-efficient, electrically-powered devices used by electrical power consumers includes obtaining power usage data for the devices, calculating an initial power reduction attributable to the device, calculating a final power reduction accounting for line loss between the device's location and the location of the power generator. The final power reduction is converted to a carbon offset amount by considering the fuel type used by the power generator. Carbon offsets are then accounted for with distributed ledger technology. A system that performs the method is also disclosed.
