METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SECURE PERSISTENT LOCATION BASED DIGITAL CONTENT
Augmented reality apparatus and methods of use are provided with secure persistent digital content linked to a location coordinates. More specifically, the present invention links a physical location with digital content to enable a user interface with augmented reality that combines aspects of the physical area with location specific digital content. According to the present invention, digital content remains persistent with a location even if visual aspects of the location change.
Method and system for managing an efficient production floor, via the internet of things
The invention discloses a computerized method for planning and monitoring an efficient production floor. A production site is provided with communication access to a central server configured to: receive input data comprising details a planned job run of the production floor; receive status and location parameters pertaining to tagged central key assets of a production floor, from tracking readers located in the production site; compare the parameters to preconfigured rules using a context analyzing component; output decisions based on the comparison; the decisions resulting in generating alerts and/or recommendations pertaining to the parameters of the key assets, communicate the alerts, and/or recommendations, digitally to specified personnel; these alerts and/or recommendations related to flow of the production floor. A system of the invention is also disclosed.
Energy search engine with autonomous control
Systems and methods dynamically assess energy efficiency by obtaining a minimum energy consumption of a system, receiving in a substantially continuous way a measurement of actual energy consumption of the system, and comparing the minimum energy consumption to the measurement of actual energy consumption to calculate a substantially continuous energy performance assessment. The system further provides at least one of a theoretical minimum energy consumption based at least in part on theoretical performance limits of system components, an achievable minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for high energy efficient equivalents of the system components, and the designed minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for the system components.
Portable personal monitor device and associated methods
The technology relates to portable personal monitor device and associated methods. In particular, the technology provides for improving the capability of personal monitor device systems by enabling functions such as two-way communications from the personal monitor; associating possible threats with one or more locations; and dynamically determining safe locations and potential evacuation routes. Also described herein are monitors which improve the detection of possible threats or risks by allowing a base unit to be used with various replacement sensor modules.
Submersible pump control
A system can include an interface to receive sensed data and economic data; a production control framework that includes a module for modeling motor efficiency of an electric submersible pump, a module for modeling gas composition of a fluid being pumped by an electric submersible pump, a module for modeling solid dynamics in a fluid being pumped by an electric submersible pump, a module to update one or more of the modules for modeling in response to receipt of data via the interface; and an interface to output control commands to a controller for an electric submersible pump based at least in part on data received by the interface and analyzed by the production control framework. Various other apparatuses, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.
Methods, apparatus and systems for managing energy assets
The apparatuses and methods herein facilitate generation of energy-related revenue for an energy customer of an electricity supplier, for a system that includes an energy storage asset. The apparatuses and methods herein can be used to generate operating schedules for a controller of the energy storage asset. When implemented, the generated operating schedules facilitates derivation of the energy-related revenue, over a time period T, associated with operation of the at least one energy storage asset according to the generated operating schedule. The energy-related revenue available to the energy customer over the time period T is based at least in part on a wholesale electricity market.
Sub-tree similarity for component substitution
Systems and methods of determining sub-tree similarity for component substitution. A method includes assigning a similarity metric to a plurality of trees stored in computer-readable media. The method also includes constructing a distance matrix in computer-readable media, the distance being between sub-trees. The method also includes correlating sub-trees in the computer-readable media based on the distance matrix.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATING CARBON FOOTPRINTING
Methods and systems for automating carbon footprinting are disclosed. In some embodiments, the methods include a plurality of steps. In some embodiments, related to predetermined resources associated with an item from predetermined data sources is obtained. Then, estimated emission factors are calculated for each of the resources. Next, a contributory uncertainty of the data and of the emission factors is determined. Then, a user is guided based on a comparison of the respective contributory uncertainty of data related to the resources or emission factors. Next, both data related to the resources and the estimated emission factors of the resources are utilized to determine a carbon footprint of the item.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO MANAGE AND CONTROL ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
A system for analyzing energy usage measures one or more parameters indicative of energy usage for a plurality of sub-circuits, where the sampling rate for the measuring is substantially continuous, and automatically transmits information related to at least one of the measured parameters at a rate that enables monitoring of current energy usage. The system further detects a significant change in a measured parameter, determines whether the significant change in the measured parameter is caused by a change in energy usage, and automatically transmits information related to the significant change in the measured parameter caused by the change in energy usage after detecting the significant change.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ASSESSING FACILITY COMPLIANCE WITH INFECTIOUS DISEASE GUIDANCE
Devices, methods, and systems for monitoring and/or assessing compliance with infectious disease guidance for reducing infectious disease transmissions are described herein. The systems may include sensing devices at or within a facility and computing devices to compare data based on outputs from the sensing devices with guidance and/or recommendations for mitigating infectious disease transmission. Various compliance parameters may be identified as being relevant to the guidelines and measurable with outputs from the sensing devices. Various compliance parameters may be identified as being relevant to the guidelines, but not measurable with outputs from the sensing devices. The compliance parameters may be individually scored or scored in groups, including the compliance parameters not measureable with outputs from the sensing devices, and a score relative to a facility or group of facilities may be provided. The scores may be presented to via a dashboard.
