The present invention relates to capsules comprising dasatinib lauryl sulfate salt.

Storage stable sincalide formulations
11110063 · 2021-09-07 · ·

Disclosed herein are solid compositions that comprise sincalide and are storage stable and which lack a buffer, and optionally, also lack a surfactant/solubilizer, wherein such compositions are storage stable. Also disclosed herein are liquid compositions that comprise sincalide, wherein such compositions are storage stable, and may lack buffer and/or surfactant/solubilizer. Also provided are methods of making and administering the solid or liquid storage stable compositions to a patient in need of, e.g., for the treatment, prevention, and/or diagnosis of gall bladder- and/or pancreatic disorders; or other diagnostic imaging.

Compositions comprising a delivery agent and preparation thereof
11123296 · 2021-09-21 · ·

The invention relates to granules and pharmaceutical compositions comprising a salt of N-(8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino)caprylic acid and a lubricant obtained by mixing hereof for more than 5 minutes prior to granulation as well as processes for their preparation and use thereof in medicine.

Modified release compositions comprising tacrolimus
11077096 · 2021-08-03 · ·

A modified release composition comprising tacrolimus releases less than 20% w/w of the active ingredient within 0.5 hours when subjected to an in vitro dissolution test using USP Paddle method and using 0.1 N HCl as dissolution medium and has increased bioavailability by effectively reducing or even avoiding the effects of CYP3A4 metabolism. The modified composition may be coated with an enteric coating; and/or may comprise a solid dispersion or a solid solution of tacrolimus in a hydrophilic or water-miscible vehicle and one or more modifying release agents; and/or may comprise a solid dispersion or a solid solution of tacrolimus in an amphiphilic or hydrophobic vehicle and optionally one or more modifying release agents.

ORAL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS OF DABIGATRAN ETEXILATE

Compositions comprising a mixture of at least two types of particles wherein a) the first type of particles comprise dabigatran etexilate in the form of the free base or in the form of pharmaceutically acceptable salts, polymorphs, solvates or hydrates thereof; and b) the second type of particles comprise at least one pharmaceutically acceptable organic acid, use of said compositions in the reduction of the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation and/or in the prevention of venous thromboembolic events in adult patients who have undergone elective total hip replacement surgery or total knee replacement surgery and processes for the preparation of said compositions.

HEAT-STABLE DRY POWDER PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS

Disclosed herein are heat-stable dry powders which include peptides or protein such as oxytocin for use as a pharmaceutical composition. The composition is highly stable at increased temperatures and relatively high humid environments, and are intended for storage at room temperature with an improved shelf-life. In particular, the dry powders are intended for inhalation, however, other routes of administration can be used when reconstituted in solution.

Method and formulation for inhalation

This invention relates to drug delivery and in particular to the delivery of biologically active agents in the form of dry powders for inhalation. The invention also relates to methods for preparing such dry powder formulations and methods for their use.

Apparatus and method for cryogranulating a pharmaceutical composition

Cryogranulation systems with improved dispenser assemblies are provided for use in manufacturing frozen pellets of pharmaceutical substances in a fluid medium. Methods of cryogranulating the pharmaceutical substance in the fluid medium are also provided. In particular embodiments, the dispenser assembly is used with suspensions or slurries of pharmaceutical compositions including biodegradable substances, such as proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids. In certain embodiments, the pharmaceutical substance can be adsorbed to any pharmaceutically acceptable carrier particles suitable for making pharmaceutical powders. In one embodiment, the pharmaceutical carrier can be, for example, diketopiperazine-based microparticles. The dispenser assembly improves the physical characteristics of the cryopellets formed and minimizes product loss during processing.

Novel formulation of meloxicam
20210213028 · 2021-07-15 ·

Unit dosage forms of meloxicam containing either 5 mg or 10 mg of meloxicam that provide effective pain relief and have desirable pharmacokinetic properties are described. The unit dosage forms can provide pain relief when a single unit dose is administered to a patient and useful for treating pain such as osteoarthritis pain at a relatively low systemic exposure to meloxicam.
