A method and device for simulating a semiconductor IC is provided, which comprises generating a high level description of the IC, generating a low level description of the IC comprising a plurality of instances describing the operation of the IC, conducting a low level function analysis of the IC based on metrics values associated with the instances, and performing a design optimization scheme. The scheme comprises mapping the metric values of instances describing functional units different from standard cells, to standard cells logically connected to said instances, by dividing each of the instance metrics values between a group of standard cells logically connected to the corresponding instance and adding each resulting portion of said instance metric value to the metric value of each of the group of standard cells, respectively.

SIDE SPOILER DEVICE FOR MOBILITY

In the present disclosure, the side spoiler is provided on a lower side of a mobility vehicle so that aerodynamic performance is improved, and a deployment angle of the side spoiler is controlled according to driving conditions and road conditions so that desired aerodynamic performance is realized, and damage to the side spoiler is prevented. In addition, introduced is a side spoiler device for the mobility vehicle, in which the side spoiler is divided into a plurality of side spoilers so that aerodynamic performance for each driving situation is optimized through individual control of each side spoiler.

Various embodiments of an airfoil and machines with airfoils are disclosed. The airfoils include a thicker leading airfoil portion and a thinner trailing airfoil portion. In one embodiment, the leading airfoil portion is formed by bending a body of the airfoil back toward itself. In another embodiment, the leading airfoil portion has a solid geometry and includes two elliptic surfaces. To prevent detachment of airflow, the leading airfoil portion includes at least two arc portions or surfaces that act to direct the airflow down to the trailing airfoil portion in a manner that stabilizes vortexes that may form in the region of changing thickness.

Flexible and storable active spoiler system

An active spoiler system for a vehicle is disclosed that changes from a stowed position to a deployed position. In the stowed position, one or more flexible sheets are stored on rollers inside the body of the vehicle. The flexible sheets are pulled outward out of the body of the vehicle by a rigid bar that rotates around a pivot, in response to a controller. The deployed active spoiler may decrease drag thereby increasing fuel efficiency, while also allowing for the active spoiler to be stowed when not needed due to road or weather conditions.

The selectable control mode defines a position of the dive plane assembly based on vehicle parameters measured while driving the vehicle.

An active bolster mounts at an interior trim surface of a passenger compartment in an automotive vehicle. A plastic-molded front wall deploys in a deployment direction toward a passenger in the passenger compartment. A plastic-molded bladder member is joined along an outer perimeter with the front wall by a hot weld seam to form an inflatable bladder. The bladder member includes at least one substantially circumferential pleated baffle. An inflator couples an inflation gas into the inflatable bladder in response to a crash event of the vehicle. The pleated baffle forms a plurality of at least five vent openings including at least one stress relief vent juxtaposed to a peak stress region of the hot weld seam and a plurality of tuning vents which are concentrated at a lowest restraint-force region of the inflatable bladder.
