METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR NVH-BASED VEHICLE POWERTRAIN CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for adjusting noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) limits for a vehicle based on an occupancy level of the vehicle. The occupancy level is inferred based on a number of occupants and their position within a vehicle, and further based on a degree of interaction of a primary occupant with vehicle controls. As the occupancy level decreases, NVH constraints for operating the vehicle are reduced and one or more vehicle operating parameters nay be based on the reduced NVH constraints.
AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF VEHICLE
An autonomous driving control system of a vehicle includes a processor, a navigation, and a driving controller communicatively connected to one another. The processor is configured to estimate a charging amount of a power source that drives a driving device of a vehicle. The navigation is configured to set a driving route based on a destination and to search for a charging station for the power source based on the set driving route. The processor is further configured to determine a charging strategy of the power source based on the estimated charging amount of the power source, the driving route set by the navigation, and the searched charging station. The driving controller is configured to control driving of the vehicle based on the driving route set by the navigation and the determined charging strategy.
System and method for autonomous vehicle control to minimize energy cost
A system and method for autonomous vehicle control to minimize energy cost are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: generating a plurality of potential routings and related vehicle motion control operations for an autonomous vehicle to cause the autonomous vehicle to transit from a current position to a desired destination; generating predicted energy consumption rates for each of the potential routings and related vehicle motion control operations using a vehicle energy consumption model; scoring each of the plurality of potential routings and related vehicle motion control operations based on the corresponding predicted energy consumption rates; selecting one of the plurality of potential routings and related vehicle motion control operations having a score within an acceptable range; and outputting a vehicle motion control output representing the selected one of the plurality of potential routings and related vehicle motion control operations.
VEHICLE
Disclosed is a vehicle performing autonomous driving. The vehicle includes: a display, a driver to drive the vehicle, an inputter configured to receive destination information related to a destination of the vehicle, a power supply including a battery for supplying electric power to the vehicle, a first sensor module to detect a capacity of the battery, and a controller to determine an expected driving route of the vehicle based on the destination information. The controller calculates an expected power consumption of the vehicle based on the expected driving route, and changes an autonomous driving state of the vehicle in the expected driving route based on the expected power consumption and the detected capacity of the battery.
System and method for actuating a vehicle operation power mode
A system and method for actuating a vehicle operation power mode that include receiving sensor data from at least one sensor of a vehicle. The system and method also include determining if at least one vehicle operation requirement is met based on analysis of the sensor data and actuating an electric powered operation mode of the vehicle based on determining that the at least one operation requirement is met. The system and method further include controlling the vehicle to be powered by electrical power supplied by an electric battery of the vehicle based on the actuation of the electric powered operation mode.
Method for determining a speed to be reached for a first vehicle preceded by a second vehicle, in particular for an autonomous vehicle
The present invention is a method for determining an optimal speed of a first vehicle preceded by a second vehicle. Position, speed and acceleration of the second vehicle are measured in order to determine a trajectory thereof, and a dynamic model of the first vehicle is constructed. The optimal speed is then determined by minimizing the energy consumption of the vehicle by use of the dynamic model by minimization being constrained by the trajectory of the second vehicle.
User interface and method for a motor vehicle with a hybrid drive for displaying the charge state
In connection with a user interface for a motor vehicle with a hybrid drive, a driver is able to select whether the hybrid drive is operated in an operating mode which consumes charge, or in an operating mode which retains charge. The user interface is configured to display the charge state of the energy store on a display, and to receive or calculate a charge state variable which is characteristic of the charge state. The charge state variable may be displayed with a first range of values in a first display area during operation of the hybrid drive in the charge-consuming operating mode. The charge state variable may be displayed with a second range of values, which is a subset of the first range of values, in a second display area during operation of the hybrid drive in the charge-retaining operating mode. The second display area is larger than a subrange of the first display area in which the second range of values is displayed.
Electric vehicle power management system
An apparatus comprising an interface, a memory and a processor. The interface may be configured to receive sensor data samples during operation of a vehicle. The memory may be configured to store the sensor data samples over a number of points in time. The processor may be configured to analyze the sensor data samples stored in the memory to detect a pattern. The processor may be configured to manage an application of brakes of the vehicle in response to the pattern.

In representation processing, when a capacity retention is higher than a threshold value while a warranty condition is satisfied, an ECU has the capacity retention shown in a first manner. When the capacity retention is equal to or lower than the threshold value while the warranty condition is satisfied, the ECU has the capacity retention shown in a second manner.
