Methods may provide nutritional benefits in a human or animal subject, comprising administering a composition of the present invention. Compositions may comprise monoglycerides and essential oils, including compositions comprising two or more of the following components: a monoglyceride, a curcuminoid, thymoquinone, thymol, carvacrol, and p-cymene.
