An automatically operated automation attachment includes one or more processors; one or more memory devices; one or more wireless communication transceivers; and computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices. The computer-readable instructions executable by the one or more processors to receive parameters or settings; store the parameters or settings in the one or more memory devices; and automatically communicate instructions, commands or messages to assemblies or components of the automation attachment to cause the assemblies or components to perform specific actions.

An automation attachment for an existing umbrella includes a housing having an opening in an interior of the housing, one or more couplers or connectors to connect the opening of the housing to a center support pole or umbrella of the existing umbrella, a motor and pulley assembly, located inside the housing, to connect to a rope of the existing umbrella and pull on or release the rope in order to expand or retract an umbrella frame of the existing umbrella; and a rechargeable power source assembly, located inside the housing, to transfer power to the motor and pulley assembly for operation of the motor and pulley assembly.

The rod connected is to the first hub and includes pins that are movable between an extended state, where pins protrude from the rod, and a retracted state where the pins are retracted within the rod. The first hub is movable relative to the second hub between a first state in which the rod is disposed above the alignment guide in an axial direction defined by an opening in the alignment guide and a second state in which a portion of the rod comprising the pins is below the alignment guide in the axial direction.

A rapidly deployable structure that includes a first and second hub, a plurality of legs and a rod connected to the first hub. The first hub includes first recesses. The tip assembly includes a tip rod detachably disposed on a distal end of an outer cylindrical rib of a rib and a protection piece arranged at a distal end of the tip rod. The tip rod is provided with a mounting hole for mounting the distal end of the outer cylindrical rib therein. The protection piece includes a curved outer surface and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface. The outer surface is abutting against respective support ends of a canopy, without exposed outside the canopy. The distal end of the tip rod is located at the inner surface of the protection piece to be protected thereon. Thereby the tip assembly will not have a sharp end or expose outside the canopy while the canopy is extended by the plurality of ribs.
