Wearable Canopy Shade
A wearable canopy shade is provided. The wearable canopy shade includes a canopy secured a frame, wherein the frame includes a bulbous first end and a narrower second end. The frame is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position, the second end is perpendicular to the first end, such that the second end is configured to rest parallel to a back of a user wearing the shade and the first end rests above a head of the user, providing shade to a user positioned thereunder. The shade includes a pair of shoulder straps that can secure the frame to the user. A cord is securable between the first end of the frame and the pair of shoulder straps in order to prevent the rotation of the first end of the frame relative to the second end when the shade is in use.
Portable storage assembly
The present invention is directed to a portable storage assembly including a plurality of poles, a support attachable to each of the poles and a storage container mountable to the support; wherein in use the poles are positioned to intersect forming an apex in an upper section and a wide base in a lower section, the storage container is positionable within the space defined by the poles in the lower section.
Vertical support mounted umbrella frame
A device with a mounting band implement, wherein said mounting band implement is configured to support an upright structure on a vertical support. A tensioning device adjusts the tension of the mounting band implement. A vertical support bracket engages a portion of the mounting band implement, a fixed or adjustable rib section and angled support segment. A rib mounted angled support bracket engages angled support segment at the rib. An angled support segment is configured to maintain an angle for said rib section relative to the upright structure, in which the angled support segment includes a fixed or adjustable length segment that is operable for raising or lowering an angle of the rib section.
Umbrella anchor
The present invention is an anchor for a beach umbrella or the like. The umbrella anchor of the present invention includes generally an anchor bag configured to receive the end of a conventional beach umbrella shaft and an upper harness provided for securing the upper end of the umbrella shaft to the anchor bag. The anchor bag is filled with sand or other earthen material removed from a hole into which the anchor bag is placed while the umbrella anchor of the present invention is being deployed. An upper harness is mounted on the umbrella shaft and then releasable connected to an anchor bag harness fixed to the anchor bag. The umbrella anchor may further include a storage bag for receiving the anchor bag and proximal end of the beach umbrella when the umbrella is closed for storage, or for holding miscellaneous items when the umbrella is opened and anchored.
Removable sunshade base and sunshade
This invention provides a removable sunshade base and a sunshade including the removable sunshade base. The removable sunshade base includes a sunshade base body and a pull rod. A bottom of the sunshade base body has a sliding groove and first sliding wheels. One end of the pull rod has a second sliding wheel, and the pull rod is movably connected with the sliding groove of the sunshade base body such that the pull rod is accommodated in the sliding groove or is pulled out from the sliding groove. When the pull rod is pulled out from the sliding groove, both the first sliding wheels and the second sliding wheel contact one supporting plane to move the sunshade base body.
Stickless exteriorly operated umbrella canopy
An umbrella canopy that opens and closes not from a stick from within the interior of the umbrella canopy but from the exterior crown where a line is pulled to open the umbrella canopy and where a button is pushed to close the umbrella canopy. The interior of the umbrella canopy includes no stick to hold up the umbrella canopy. Taut edges of the umbrella canopy hold up the umbrella canopy, for instance, on the top edges of a playyard.
Serrated beach pole with fins, sleeve and rotation and fixation lever
A beach umbrella comprises a lower pole section and separate upper pole section with a canopy. The pole sections may be connected by inserting the lower end of the upper section into a sleeve on the upper end of the lower section. The sleeve includes a hinged lever arm that may be positioned to permit manual rotation of the lower section to bore the lower pole securely into the soil and thereby permit coupling of the upper section to the lower section positioned in the ground. The lower end of the lower section includes a hollow tubular sleeve with outwardly projecting fins or blades to bore into the soil when the lower pole section is rotated and axially projecting teeth to pierce the sand.
Delta-shaped umbrella having a spring-loaded hub
A delta-shaped umbrella apparatus for shading or shielding a user from the rain includes a hub configured for receiving a handle. The hub has a plurality of spring receptacles, and a plurality of springs, with each spring having a coiled portion, a lower anchoring portion, and an upper anchoring portion. Each spring receptacle has a spring chamber configured to hold the coiled portion, at least one anchoring hole configured for the lower anchoring portion to be inserted therethrough, and a slot. A plurality of ribs are anchored to the plurality of springs' upper anchoring portions, and each slot is configured to allow the a rib to swing through a predetermined range of motion relative to the hub. The range of motion defines an arc extending from a position substantially parallel to the handle to a position substantially perpendicular to the handle.
Portable shade umbrella
A shade umbrella includes a top structure, an umbrella stand structure and a pole. The pole enables the separation of umbrella top structure into two components and posit of each other for ease of carrying and storing, and the umbrella stand structure attached to lower end of an umbrella pole which provides stability by parting horizontal and vertical loads. Further, the shade umbrella is portable, detachable and collapsible.
Methods and apparatus for adjusting shading element and/or moving umbrella assembly to maximize shading area
A robotic umbrella, comprising a base assembly, a support assembly coupled to the base assembly, one or more shading assemblies coupled to the support assembly, one or more processors and one or more memory devices. The robotic umbrella comprises computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices, accessed from the one or more memory devices which are executed by the one or more processors to: a) determine a geographical location of the robotic umbrella utilizing at least one of a wireless communication transceiver or a global positioning system (GPS) transceiver, or a combination thereof; and b) determine an orientation of a light source with respect to the robotic umbrella utilizing at least one of a compass, an accelerometer, a magnetometer or a gyroscope, or combination thereof. The robotic umbrella further comprises one or more distance sensors to calculate a distance from the robotic umbrella to the object.
