A unique foldable mounting bracket assembly for mounting and securing vertically disposed accessories for decks and patios. The folding mounting bracket assembly when supporting vertically disposed cylindrical post requires both an upper and lower bracket. These brackets are mounted to the vertical post. When these brackets are used in conjunction with the railing of a deck the brackets can be mounted to the vertical railing support post below the top railing horizontal support cross member and above the lower support cross member. This unique foldable mounting bracket when not in use stows flat against the vertical support post not protruding out of the envelope of the standard 24 railing horizontal members.

At least one twelve-different-application rotatable and pivotable umbrella each comprises: at least one pivotable pole receiver each having: a pole-centering sleeve and receiver gears; a rotatable adjustor having: adjustor gears for engaging to the receiver gears and bottom gears; a trailer-hitch-adapting tube for engaging to a trailer hitch; at least one curved-surface-adapting plate each releasably attached to the trailer-hitch-adapting tube; a spiral-shovel spike having: a spiral blade and digging shovels for securely burying the spiral blade in soil and sand; a base attached to the trailer-hitch-adapting tube or the spiral-shovel spike, and having: base gears for engaging to the bottom gears, two wrenching-and-strapping handles for wrenching and strapping the base, and a surface-conforming-and-protecting adaptor attached thereto; at least one base-securing strap and ratchet for attaching the base to bumper, bench, table, hand rail, post, column, tree, tail gate, e.i.; and at least one adjustable umbrella each having: a canopy and a pole for being inserted through the pole-centering sleeve and into one of the at least one pivotable pole receiver.

A free arm umbrella includes a fixing plate (1), an upper nest (2), a lower nest (3), umbrella ribs (5) and support ribs (6). The umbrella ribs (5) are hinged with the upper nest (2) and the two ends of the support rib (6) are hinged with the lower nest (3) and the umbrella rib (5) respectively. The free arm umbrella also includes a control mechanism (7), a support rod (9), a first strut rod (10) and a second strut rod (20). The two ends of the first strut rod (10) are hinged with the lower nest (3) and the upper portion of the fixing plate (1) respectively. One end of the second strut rod (20) is hinged with the upper nest (2) and the other end is provided with a support block (21). The middle part of the first strut rod (10) is hinged with the middle part of the second strut rod (20). The two ends of the support rod (9) are hinged with the second strut rod (20) and the fixing plate (1) respectively. The control mechanism (7) is fixed on the fixing plate (1). The support block (21) is moveably fixed on the control mechanism (7). A rotating lockout mechanism (8) can also be set on the free arm umbrella so that the umbrella cover can be rotated easily. The free arm umbrella has advantages of simple structure, convenience of use, economic practicality, and being applicable to narrow space.

A sun umbrella locking device includes: a sliding base, a locking clamping base and a fastening assembly, wherein a sliding chamber is formed in the locking clamping base, and two locking pieces are arranged on side surfaces of the locking clamping base; an expansion joint is formed between the two locking pieces, and the expansion joint extends into the sliding chamber of the locking clamping base; the two locking pieces are respectively provided with a first locking hole, the sliding base is provided with an accommodating chamber, and the locking clamping base is arranged in the accommodating chamber; the sliding base is provided with a second locking hole aligned with the first locking hole; after passing through the second locking hole and the first locking hole, the fastening assembly is connected to the sliding base and the locking clamping base.

The invention features a shade apparatus adapted to provide shade to an individual or individuals while they are outside and in need of shade from sunlight. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention contemplate a shade apparatus that is easily portable and easily adapted to the sun's changing positions, thereby providing the individual/user with shade from sunlight.

A sun umbrella locking device includes: a sliding base, a locking clamping base and a fastening assembly, wherein a sliding chamber is formed in the locking clamping base, and two locking pieces are arranged on side surfaces of the locking clamping base; an expansion joint is formed between the two locking pieces, and the expansion joint extends into the sliding chamber of the locking clamping base; the two locking pieces are respectively provided with a first locking hole, the sliding base is provided with an accommodating chamber, and the locking clamping base is arranged in the accommodating chamber; the sliding base is provided with a second locking hole aligned with the first locking hole; after passing through the second locking hole and the first locking hole, the fastening assembly is connected to the sliding base and the locking clamping base.

A shading attachment assembly for attaching to a removable roof platform are described herein. The shading attachment assembly may include a base having a longitudinal member with a first end and a second end opposite of the first end, the longitudinal member further includes an underside to mate with a surface of a removable roof platform, and a rod that extends outward from the first end of the longitudinal member. The assembly may further include an L arm having a first end and a second end, the first end of the L-arm rotatably attached to the rod and the second end of the L-arm to receive an end of an umbrella shaft.

Improvements in a shade for a boom lift that provides a shade that covers all or most of the working area or cage of the boom lift. The shade protects the worker(s) from sunlight and the user may not need to wear a hat or other coverage to prevent direct sunlight on the worker(s). This provides sun protection that is not available on a boom shade or requires the user to select the side of a building they are working on based upon the direction and angle of the sun. The shade has two sets of upper and lower securing mechanisms. The bottom securing mechanism rests over the lower tube of the lift and the upper clamp securing mechanism extends at least partially over the upper rail to secure the shade in at least three locations. The clamping mechanism has a slot with threaded fasteners.
