Method, system, and computer program product for concept-based multi-dimensional analysis of unstructured information
A method, operating model, system, data structure, computer program and computer program product for analyzing and categorizing and exploring or querying unstructured information and for tracking trends and exceptions. Method for analytical processing of unstructured objects in a dimensional space. Method for tracking trends in concepts. Method for tracking exceptions in concepts. Tools and interface for displaying concepts, query results, tracked trends and exceptions.
Semantically representing a target entity using a semantic object
A data construct called a semcard is a semantic (meaning-based) software object including semantic meta-tags and meta-data that describes a target object or thing. A target object can be any type of digital or physical entity or identifier, or it can be tacit knowledge, such as ideas, concepts, processes or other data existing in a user's mind, provided that the user represents this knowledge in the semcard. A semcard embodies information about its own structure-rules, history, state, policies and goals regarding automation, display, access permissions, sharing and other operations of the semcard and any optional target object. It can also represent a semantic link between two semcards, or a semantically typed link or a standard Web hyperlink between a semcard and its referent target. A collection of semcards represents a knowledge network; single semcards, and knowledge networks, can be browsed, shared, searched, disseminated, manipulated, displayed, organized, and stored.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETERMINE THE VALIDITYOF AN INTERACTION ON A NETWORK
A computer implemented method determines validity of web-based interactions. Web-based interaction data relating to a web-based interaction may be accessed. The web-based interaction data may include aggregate measure data that may include a number of unique queries per web-based session. The validity of the web-based interaction may be determined based on the aggregate measure data.
Service desk data transfer interface
A system and method for managing data transfer operations includes at least one data server including data stored in a plurality of data fields, at least one transaction server operatively coupled to the at least one data server and configured to provide at least one customizable business rule and a customer relationship application, an information server operatively coupled to the at least one transaction server, and at least one workstation operatively coupled to the information server. The least one workstation includes local memory accessible to the customer relationship application and configured to provide web communication and presentation services to a user of the at least one workstation that are deployed on the information server. The at least one customizable business rule specifies a mapping between the plurality of data fields and the local memory, the mapping having been provided by the user interacting with the web communication and presentation services.
Search systems and methods with integration of aggregate user annotations
Computer systems and methods allow users to annotate content items found in a corpus such as the World Wide Web Annotations, which can include any descriptive and/or evaluative metadata related to a document, are collected from a user and stored in association with that user. Users are able to annotate and view their annotations for any document they encounter while interacting with the corpus, including hits returned in a search of the corpus. Users are also able to search their annotations or to limit searches to documents they have annotated. Metadata from annotations can also be aggregated across users and aggregated metadata applied in generating search results.
Process and system for providing and managing offline input of field documentation to a complex project workflow system
A process for transferring a field document between an online environment of a complex project workflow system and an offline environment is provided. The workflow process is controlled by a processing system and is designed to facilitate the preparation for and performance of the complex project. The process creates a copy of the field document to be transferred from the workflow process on the processing system to the offline environment. The copy of the field document is then transmitted to a particular user on a party's system via a communication network. The process further provides controlled access to the field document on the processing system during a period that the copy of the field document is in the offline environment beyond the control of the processing system.
Computer-Implemented System and Method for Identifying Documents for Review
A computer-implemented system and method for identifying documents for review is provided. A set of documents is sorted by topic. A status of near duplicate is assigned to two or more documents in the set. Threads of the documents are identified. Each thread includes at least one near duplicate document that is recursively included within another near duplicate document in that thread. In each thread, the near duplicate documents are ordered based on a length of the thread included in each near duplicate document. The near duplicate document that has the longest length is selected for each thread and provided for review.
System and method to determine the validity of an interaction on a network
A computer implemented method determines validity of web-based interactions. Web-based interaction data relating to a web-based interaction may be accessed. The web-based interaction data may include aggregate measure data that may include a number of unique queries per web-based session. The validity of the web-based interaction may be determined based on the aggregate measure data.
Context subsystems for system configurations
Embodiments of the present invention utilize context subsystems to logically group resources according to context. Such context subsystems can be nested (i.e. hierarchical), and thus further simplify the complex configuration relationships encountered with complex systems. Higher level (i.e. parent) context subsystems contain at least one resource that is utilized by a lower level (i.e. child) component, subsystem, or context subsystem. Context subsystems can be hierarchically arranged in single- and multi-parent arrangements and single- and multi-child arrangements. The number of context subsystem hierarchical levels is virtually unlimited and is generally dictated by the complexity of the system and the corresponding simplification needs of the configuration technology being utilized to configure the system. Context subsystems are applicable and useful in a configuration environment for virtually any configurable system amenable to contextual groupings of resources.
Secure system for allowing the execution of authorized computer program code
Systems and methods for selective authorization of code modules are provided. According to one embodiment, a kernel mode driver monitors events occurring within a file system or an operating system. Responsive to observation of a trigger event performed by or initiated by an active process, in which the active process corresponds to a first code module within the file system and the event relates to a second code module within the file system, performing or bypassing a real-time authentication process on the second code module with reference to a multi-level whitelist database architecture. The active process is allowed to load the second code module into memory when the real-time authentication process is bypassed or when it is performed and results in an affirmative determination.
