A reproduction device including a reproduction unit configured to reproduce content data including at least one of audio, video, and text for which attribute data is assigned for each of a different plurality of attributes; a display unit; and a control unit configured to make the display unit display a playback screen containing at least one attribute data among the plurality of attribute data assigned to the content data when reproducing the content data and, when one attribute data among the attribute data composing the playback screen is selected, switch the display content of the content from the playback screen to the list relating to the selected attribute data.

A system and method for enriching a concept database. The method includes determining, based on signatures of a first multimedia content element (MMCE) and signatures of a plurality of existing concepts in the concept database, at least one first concept, wherein each first concept is one of the plurality of existing concepts matching a portion of the first MMCE; generating a reduced representation of the first MMCE, wherein the generation of the reduced representation includes removing the at least one portion of the first MMCE matching the determined at least one first concept; comparing the reduced representation to signatures representing a plurality of second MMCEs to determine a plurality of matching second MMCEs; generating, based on the reduced representation and the plurality of matching second MMCEs, at least one second concept; and adding the generated at least one second concept to the concept database.

A system and method for generating a facial representation. The method includes identifying, via at least one data source, at least one multimedia content element; generating at least one signature for at least a portion of each identified multimedia content element, wherein each generated signature represents at least one facial concept; analyzing the generated signatures to determine a cluster of signatures of facial concepts; and generating, based on the cluster of facial concept signatures, a facial representation.

A method, system and computer program product for providing translated web content is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request from a user on a web site, the web site having a first web content in a first language, wherein the request calls for a second web content in a second language. The method further includes dividing the first web content into a plurality of translatable components and generating a unique identifier for each translatable component. The method further includes identifying a plurality of translated components of the second web content using the unique identifier of each of the plurality of translatable components of the first web content and putting the plurality of translated components of the second web content to preserve a format that corresponds to the first web content. The method further includes providing the second web content in response to the request that was received.

Techniques associated with data management and distribution are described, including receiving at a content distribution and management system activity data associated with a user from a client, the client having an interface configured to display commercial content and a player configured to access the content distribution and management system, storing the activity data in a database, displaying the commercial content using the interface, receiving other activity data associated with the user from the client, storing the other activity data in the database, determining other commercial content to display using the activity data and the other activity data, and displaying the other commercial content.

Method and apparatus for accessing media across networks. The present invention generally allows for media to be provided across a network. A client requests media information from a server so the client can create a local representation of the server's database. The client is then able to manage the media information locally. When the client selects the desired media, it requests the selection from across the network. The server then delivers the selected media.

A method includes obtaining feature generation code from, which is configured to determine features relating to input data. The method further includes obtaining data grouping code, which is configured to generate training data by determining a plurality of data groupings for the features relating to the input data. The method further includes obtaining modeling code, which is derived at least in part by applying one or more machine learning algorithms to the training data. The method includes collecting information from the user about the user's personal search engine, including, but not limited to digital content data sources, link crawl depth of those digital content data sources, and time interval to refresh the index of the digital content data sources created. In one embodiment of the present invention users do not pay a fee in return for allowing the provider to present advertising to the user as the user uses the invention. In another embodiment, advertisers purchase advertising display services from the provider to be displayed to specific users.

A system and method for contextually enriching a concept database. The method includes determining, based on at least one signature of a first multimedia data element (MMDE) and signatures of a plurality of third concepts stored in the concept database, at least one matching first concept among the plurality of third concepts; generating a reduced representation of the first MMDE; comparing the reduced representation of the first MMDE to signatures representing a plurality of second MMDEs to determine a plurality of matching MMDEs among the plurality of second MMDEs; generating, based on the reduced representation of the first MMDE and the signatures representing the plurality of matching MMDEs, a second concept; and generating at least one context based on the second concept and the plurality of third concepts, wherein each context includes at least one common pattern among the second concept and at least one of the plurality of third concepts.

A system and method for providing augmented reality challenges. The method includes obtaining at least one multimedia content element; causing generation of at least one signature for each obtained multimedia content element; determining, based on the generated signatures, at least one augmented reality challenge; identifying, based on the determined at least one augmented reality challenge, at least one augmented reality object; creating at least one challenge multimedia content element by causing addition of the at least one augmented reality object to the obtained at least one multimedia content element; and causing a display of the created at least one challenge multimedia content element.
