Adjustable lever load binder
A lever load binder which provides fine adjustments for accommodation of the length of the tiedown chain without twisting of the tiedown chain or binder, increased efficiency of use, and improved safety.
Attachment devices for vehicle rooftop rack accessories
Rack systems are disclosed for coupling accessories to crossbars on top of a vehicle. A coupling device may include a flexible strap member adjustably anchored at one end of a body. The strap member may be connected to the other end of the body and tightened. A mounting assembly may be provided on the top side of the body for connection to a cargo-specific carrier or accessory. A coupling device may also include a flexible fitting member configured to grip a round or rectangular crossbar. A cap member may be configured to be mounted on the fitting member and have one or more ramp surfaces which form a sliding interface with a corresponding surface on the fitting member, thereby providing a closing or tightening effect on the fitting member with respect to the crossbar. Other coupling devices are configured to grip or clamp a t-slot in the crossbar.
Ratchet strap apparatus including easily attachable cargo strap
A ratchet strap apparatus includes a tensioning strap adapted to be selectively tensioned and a cargo strap adapted to be secured to the apparatus using an inboard pin and an outboard pin and bending the cargo strap into a loop. In one embodiment, the outboard pin is secured to a side wall and an opening is provided between the outboard pin and another side wall whereby the outboard pin may be inserted into a cargo strap loop. In another embodiment, the outboard pin is slidingly received through a hole in one side wall and is selectively unseated from a saddle on the other side wall for insertion into the cargo strap loop. In yet another embodiment, the outboard pin is secured between two side walls and the inboard pin is selectively removable from and seated on saddles in each of the walls whereby the inboard pin extends therebetween.
Strap tensioning buckle apparatus and methods of using the same
A strap tensioning buckle apparatus provides a ratchetless strap tensioning buckle apparatus for tensioning straps utilized in tying down objects. The ratchetless strap tensioning buckle apparatus has a base having a first end and a second end, a linkage pivotally attached to the base at a midpoint thereof, a handle having a first end and a second end, the handle having a shaft at the first end thereof for holding a loop of strap, the shaft further rigidly connecting the handle to the linkage, the handle pivoting via the linkage and moving the shaft in an arc from a first position to a second position, wherein moving the shaft from the first position to the second position tightens the strap and locks the strap in place.
Patterned Conductive Ink Film Absorber for a Foldable Transportable Shelter
Disclosed is a thin-film radio frequency absorber material that is mass-produced by a high-speed manufacturing method of printing a highly controlled pattern of conductive ink squares onto a thin roll film, resulting in a lightweight low-cost radio frequency absorber component that is flexible for use in multiple novel configurations. The roll film material and printed squares are each easily adjustable to a specific size and thickness within the manufacturing process to coincide with control and protections related to variable specific radio and radar wave frequencies. Further integration into the three-layered thin-profile radio frequency energy absorber and reflector assembly provides control and protection properties related to radio and radar frequency, infrared, electromagnetic pulse, electromagnetic interference, and thermal insulation values in structural building panels utilized in lightweight structures such as the foldable transportable structure or other types of building and protection assemblies.
Anti-jamming ratchet-type tensioning device
The present disclosure relates to an anti-jamming ratchet-type tensioning device, comprising a base, a winding and unwinding mechanism with a ratchet wheel, and an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism controls locking or unlocking via a lever element, with an elastic check claw provided at the executing end of the lever element to prevent reverse rotation of the ratchet wheel. The key feature lies in the design of the lever element's pivot point as a movable structure. When the ratchet wheel rotates clockwise and pushes the check claw, the lever element can move upward with the thrust to avoid obstruction, reducing frictional resistance, effectively preventing jamming, and ensuring smooth and effortless webbing extraction.
