Reusable zipper
An adhesive reusable zipper that may be applied in situ to a preexisting bag; this reusable zipper has a single-piece integral cutting device that includes the slider block. The integral cutter includes a tip to pierce the beg and a blade to cut the beg lengthwise along the fastening strip in a non-harmful way, in order to make an opening in the beg so that it may be closed again, making it easy for the user to serve certain food products and close the bag easily and effectively. Furthermore, once the beg is no longer useful, the closure medium may be reused on another bag.
Headset cord holder
A headset cord holder comprises a body and a first groove built into the body configured to receive and releasably hold a headset cord. In some embodiments, the first groove has a diameter less than or equal to approximately 2 mm. In further embodiments, the body is integrally formed within the teeth of a zipper. In some embodiments the body comprises one or more of rubber, plastic and metal. In some embodiments, the body comprises one or more of stamped metal and molded metal. In further embodiments, the body comprises molded plastic. In some embodiments, the body comprises one or more additional grooves configured to receive and releasably secure the headset cord.
A PROTECTIVE SLIDER ZIPPER
A protective slider zipper, comprising a zipper and a slider for opening and closing the zipper, wherein an upper part of the slider is in a protection structure; the root part of the protection structure is in a bending structure capable of being repeatedly bent; a first work support surface at one side of the protection structure is fixedly connected with a first slider hand; the zipper comprises a female strip and a male strip; and the female strip is connected with and separated from the male strip through the slider.
Media cord managing zipper system
Media cord managing zipper systems in accordance with the present invention may comprise a zipper slider and a pull tab. Prongs may extend from the pull tab on opposing sides of a longitudinal axis of the pull tab. The prongs may be shaped to hold portions of a media cord in a cavity of the pull tab. The media cord managing zipper system may be incorporated into articles of clothing, such as jackets and sweatshirts.
HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER
A hook and loop fastener includes a first strip having one of loops or hooks and a second strip having another of the loops or the hooks. The first strip has a first longitudinal track orthogonal to the first strip. The second strip has a second longitudinal track, orthogonal to the first longitudinal track. A slider is provided that has an interface disrupting member extends outwardly. A gripping element is provided for manually moving the slider along the first longitudinal track and the second longitudinal track in a first direction and a second direction. Movement of the slider in the first direction brings the first strip into engagement with the second strip. Movement of the slider in the second direction draws the interface disrupting member through the interface between the first strip and the second strip, thereby separating the first strip and the second strip.
RECLOSABLE CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A reclosable bag has first and second walls and an open top defined by first and second elongate flexible fastener strips adjacent the top of the walls. One fastener strip has a profile portion forming a groove and a portion forming a rib. A portion of the rib is received and retained in the groove when the bag top is closed. Each fastener strip has a base connected to the respective wall. A slider is mounted on the strips and movable in one direction to open the bag, and in the opposite direction to close the bag. A separator, located in the slider, extends downwardly into the space between the top of the slider and the upper edges of the fastener strips. A pair of flanges extend outwardly from the bag walls, one on each wall. The flanges are disposed parallel to the top of the walls, and substantially below the fastener strips, the flanges being sized, constructed and arranged for retention within the slider.
Slider for slide fastener
A slider for a slide fastener is provided which is capable of quickly fastening and unfastening the slide fastener in a remote operation manner. A string having pull tabs on longitudinally opposite sides is fixed to a body of the slider for a slide fastener such that the string is not moved in the longitudinal direction.
CHILD RESISTANT SLIDER HAVING INSERTABLE TORPEDO AND METHODS
A child resistant zipper closure for a bag includes a slider having a flexible tab with a torpedo. To open a zipper closure, the tab must be held in a downward position to engage the torpedo between male and female tracks and result in separation of interlocked complementary profiles, while the slider is moved along the zipper closure.
Method of manufacturing portion of slide fastener
A first tape having a first edge is provided. The first tape is provided with a row of coupling elements along the first edge of the first tape. The coupling elements are configured to interdigitate with a further row of coupling elements. A first layer of a fluid resistant material is attached to the first tape. An extending layer of a fluid resistant material is attached to the first layer. The extending layer forms an extension member including a first overhang portion which extends beyond a second edge opposite the first edge. The first layer of the fluid resistant material is attached to the first tape and the extending layer is attached to the first layer.
Adjustable-width flexible stair barrier
An adjustable-width barricade for removable installation at the bottom of a staircase includes a flexible, frameless, planar, and generally-rectangular barrier member that extends between two posts on either side of the staircase. The barrier member is installed in a banister-to-banister configuration, a wall-to-banister configuration, or a wall-to-wall configuration. The barrier member has a front and back surface that forms an interior space therebetween. The adjustable-width barricade further includes a plurality of fasteners extending from one or both sides of the barrier member for tensioning engagement between one or both posts that maintains the lateral or horizontal integrity of the barricade. A plurality of rigid, structural support members are removably insertable in vertical channels within the interior space of the barrier member to provide vertical structural support when the barricade is installed across the bottom of the staircase or, alternatively, when the barricade in in a rolled-up stowed configuration.
