The canopy has one or more rods around its periphery, such as may be inserted through one or more pockets in the canopy fabric. Each of the outer frame and the rod(s) has a set of apertures configured to receive a locking fastener and a set of apertures configured to receive a jack screw or similar tensioning device. Accordingly, to assembly the structure, one or more jack screws can be used to provide the canopy with a desired tension and then locking fasteners can be used to secure the canopy to the outer frame.
SHADE APPARATUS
The invention features a shade apparatus adapted to provide shade to an individual or individuals while they are outside and in need of shade from sunlight. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention contemplate a shade apparatus that is easily portable and easily adapted to the sun's changing positions, thereby providing the individual/user with shade from sunlight.
Apparatus and devices for responsive umbrella with hands-free mechanism
The present disclosure relates to a responsive umbrella with a hands-free mechanism that allows a user to operate and hold the responsive umbrella without requiring the use of their hands. The hands-free mechanism may be a wearable strap or harness. A responsive umbrella may be adjustable for the angle of extension from the hands-free mechanism, which may allow a user to adapt the responsive umbrella for different ambient conditions.
Foldable Shade Device
A foldable shade device is disclosed herein. The shade device includes a collapsible disc, a telescopic rod, a mechanical joint, and a handle. The handle is secured to the bottom segment of the telescopic rod for grip and durability. The collapsible disc is attached to the telescoping rod, on the end opposing the handle, by the mechanical joint. When in use, the fabric screen across the expanded disc offers sun protection and shade to the user. The user can position the device as desired by extending the telescoping rod and adjusting the angle of the disc. When not in use, the collapsible disc folds into itself, the telescoping rod retracts, and the mechanical joint can be closed. The user can place the folded device into a storage bag for convenient storage and portability. The device offers users protection from the sun during extended periods outdoors.
Wearable Canopy Shade
A wearable canopy shade is provided. The wearable canopy shade includes a canopy secured a frame, wherein the frame includes a bulbous first end and a narrower second end. The frame is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position, the second end is perpendicular to the first end, such that the second end is configured to rest parallel to a back of a user wearing the shade and the first end rests above a head of the user, providing shade to a user positioned thereunder. The shade includes a pair of shoulder straps that can secure the frame to the user. A cord is securable between the first end of the frame and the pair of shoulder straps in order to prevent the rotation of the first end of the frame relative to the second end when the shade is in use.
SUNSHADE AND INCLINATION ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR SAME
A sunshade and corresponding canopy inclination adjustment mechanism are provided. The sunshade includes a canopy support structure and the inclination adjustment mechanism. The support structure includes a pair of support rods having a length axially extending between a base and a top end, a pair of coupling assemblies respectively connected to the top end of one of the support rods, and a canopy frame including a frame member having opposed end portions pivotally connected to a corresponding one of the coupling assemblies, the canopy being supported at least partially by the canopy frame. The inclination adjustment mechanism is adapted to adjust the angle of the canopy and includes an actuator, attached to the support structure, and including a rod engagement member operatively connected to the frame member. whereby operation of the actuator engages the frame member in pivoting via the rod engagement member, thereby pivoting the canopy frame.
Cell phone holder stake
A cellphone holder stake for supporting a cellphone on the beach includes a stake having a top end, a rounded bottom, and a shaft extending between the top end and the rounded bottom. The stake is configured to mount into soft ground such as sand. A mount attachment is coupled to the stake and is selectively engageable with the top end of the stake. A cellphone mount is coupled to the mount attachment. The cellphone mount is configured to secure a cellphone.
