System and Method for Providing Directions Haptically
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a system configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The system generates, via a processor, a left signal component and a right signal component based on the directions. The system transmits the left signal component to a left haptic output unit and transmits the right signal component to a right haptic output unit, such that the directions are communicated to the user via the left haptic output unit and the right haptic output unit.
Rain protection system with umbrella and stored rain gear
A rain protection system is provided herein which includes, (a) an umbrella having a canopy mounted to a post, and a handle at a lower end of the post, the handle having an open bottom end and having a hollow axial cavity; and (b) rain gear which is adapted to be removably insertable into said hollow axial cavity.
Easily Controllable Umbrella
An easily controllable umbrella includes a base, a column, an umbrella frame, lighting elements, a control device for controlling the lighting elements, a power supply assembly with a power plug for powering the lighting elements, a control panel, a touch control circuit board, and a remote control circuit board; the lighting elements, the control panel, the touch control circuit board, the remote control circuit board and the power plug form a lighting circuit, and the remote control circuit board controls the touch control circuit board. The control device includes a touch control circuit board and a remote control circuit board, remote control of the umbrella being realized through a remote control signal-matched with a receiver on the remote control circuit board, touch control of the umbrella being realized by pressing the umbrella. That is, the umbrella can support both remote control and touch control, and is thus easy to use.
Origami Shading Object
An intelligent shading object includes a base assembly, a support assembly coupled to the base assembly, a telescoping support rod housing coupled to the support assembly, a plurality of telescoping rods housed in the telescoping support housing, and a shading element, the shading element coupled to the plurality of telescoping rods. The intelligent shading object may include one or more photo cells installed on the shading element. The intelligent shading object may include comprising one or more light sensors installed on the shading element.
Intelligent Shading Louvre System
A shading object includes a base unit, one or more support units coupled to the base unit, a louver system coupled to the one or more support units, and a plurality of shading elements coupled to the one or more support units and the louver system. The one or more support units are positioned next to each other when the shading object is in a closed position. The plurality of shading elements are folded when the shading object is in a closed position. The one or more support units are moved apart from each other when the shading object is in an open position. The louver system adjusts a horizontal and/or a vertical orientation of at least one of the plurality of shading elements. The base unit further includes one or more weight compartments to provide stability to the shading object.
Dynamic game decoy
An apparatus and method for attracting game animals such as a turkey. An asymmetric canopy is provided with the image of a game animal such as a turkey. The canopy is coupled to a shaft and a plurality of extensible rib assemblies. A runner provided along the shaft and coupled to the extensible rib assemblies deploys and collapses the canopy as the runner is moved back and forth. The canopy is provided with a truncated flat bottom so as not to interfere with a hunters feet when the hunter is moving and to reduce snagging of the canopy on weeds and brush. The canopy may be deployed and collapsed to mimic the action of a strutting tom turkey.
AUTOMATIC UMBRELLA
Provided is an automatic umbrella including an umbrella shaft which includes a grip portion for allowing a user to grip, at one end according to a longitudinal direction, a plurality of main ribs pivotably coupled with the other end of the umbrella shaft and spaced apart along a circumferential direction of the umbrella shaft, an elevating body slidably installed at the umbrella shaft according to the longitudinal direction, a plurality of sub ribs with both ends pivotably coupled with the main ribs and the elevating body, an umbrella canvas coupled with the main ribs to be supported, and an operation unit which moves the elevating body to the other end of the umbrella shaft to unfold the umbrella shaft when the umbrella shaft tilts to locate the other end to be above the one end of the umbrella shaft and moves the elevating body to the one end of the umbrella shaft to fold the umbrella shaft when the umbrella shaft tilts to locate the one end to be above the other end of the umbrella shaft.
Method for manufacturing a canopy apparatus
Embodiments of the invention provide a canopy system and a method for manufacturing at least a portion of the canopy system. The canopy system may include: a canopy that includes a shaft and a canopy ball coupled to the shaft; a double socket arm connected to the canopy via the canopy ball; and a mount, the mount having a mounting ball, the mount connected to the double socket arm via the mounting ball, the canopy system thus configured for a wide range of canopy articulation with respect to the mount. Alternative embodiments are provided for the shaft, double socket arm and mounts. A manufacturing process is provided for securing the canopy ball to the shaft.
Rotating Mechanism of Sunshade
A rotating mechanism of a sunshade is disclosed to overcome the shortcomings of complicated structure, large weight, low stability, large package volume, high cost, and carrying hard in daily using according to the prior art. The rotating mechanism of a sunshade includes a sunshade canopy, a sunshade pole, a cantilever rod and a rotary device; wherein the rotary device is installed on a top end of the sunshade pole, the cantilever rod is detachably fixed to the rotary device, and the sunshade canopy is installed at one end of the cantilever rod; wherein the rotary device drives the sunshade canopy rotating around the sunshade pole via the cantilever rod.
