In a preferred embodiment, the carrier spontaneously forms a nanodispersion of nanolipids or lipospheres, upon addition to an aqueous medium, which contain the cannabinoid compound and other compounds from the active agents. The compositions can be used to form oral dosage formulations for delivery of the cannabinoid compound.
