Method for Installing a Pulling Head Assembly
A workstation and method for the installation of a pulling head assembly onto one or more conductors of a cabling system are provided. The workstation incorporates one or more of: a conductor clamp that holds the conductors of the cabling system in place during the installation of the pulling head assembly; a cutting guide having indicia marks that indicate the lengths to which to cut the conductors in order to achieve a staggered pattern of pulling eyes attached to the conductors in the pulling head assembly; a stripping tool that is used to remove a portion of the insulation from the terminal end of each conductor so that the end of the conductor may be inserted into the pulling eye; and a crimping tool that is used to crimp the pulling eyes onto the terminal ends of each of the conductors.
Integrated wire harness batch production with double buffer assembly systems
Virtually-integrated wire harness design and automated production systems and methods that achieve completely integrated data management by automatically producing scripts to dynamically propagate production commands and data to various subsystems for handling assembling necessary circuits and wire harness layout boards to produce corresponding batches of wire harnesses while script-based methods control configuring, testing, and using wire harness layout boards, and assembling, testing, reworking, and delivering wire harnesses. As derived from CAD-created specifications, the production system uses a programmable, automated wire C&C center prepares individual wire circuits. While automatic wire indexing, sorting, and delivery systems transfer circuits into, and retrieve circuits from, a transportable programmable, automated, indexed storage system equipped with an array of individual circuit tubes, and a script-controlled assembly system sends visual, aural, and other cues to help an assembler populate and configure a wire harness layout board with connector blocks and turn posts, and guides the assembler in building, testing, reworking, and delivering the corresponding batch of wire harnesses.
Apparatus having a connector with isolated conductive paths
An apparatus includes a pair of connectors and two or more conductive paths formed in each connector in the pair of connectors. The pair of connectors includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector is substantially more flexible than the second connector, and each connector in the pair of connectors includes a bulkhead. Each of the two or more conductive paths in each connector in the pair of connectors is electrically isolated from all other conductive elements in the respective connector. A shroud may be located between the bulkheads and disposed about the pair of connectors when the pair of connectors are coupled together electrically.
QUICK RELEASE FEED GUIDE AND TOOL SUPPORT FOR TERMINAL APPLICATOR
An electrical terminal applicator system includes a die connected to a press. A one-piece member including a stock guide portion is homogeneously connected to a tool receiving portion. The one-piece member is releasably secured to the die using a first fastener. A male member extends from the one-piece member, and a female slot is created in the die slidably receiving the male member to permit the one-piece member to be horizontally positioned on the die prior to securing the one-piece member using the single fastener. A tool assembly having a tool mount block is movable to a desired position. The tool assembly is releasably secured to the tool receiving portion using a second fastener after positioning the tool assembly in the desired position.
Apparatus for filling a wafer via with solder
A wafer via solder filling device includes a solder bath comprising an accommodation space for accommodating a molten solder, with an open top, and an air outlet for exhausting air from the accommodation space; a fixing unit for fixing the wafer having a via formed in one surface in the accommodation space to seal the accommodation space airtight; and a pressing unit for pressing a bottom of the molten solder arranged in the solder bath and moving the molten solder upward, to fill the molten solder in the via.

Electric wire processing apparatus
An electric wire processing apparatus (1) includes: a clamp (3R) to grip and convey an electric wire (5); an upper tray (21) disposed under a movement path (51t) for a first end (51) of the electric wire (5); a nonconforming item tray (23) disposed under the movement path (51t) and laterally of the upper tray (21); a shared tray (24) disposed toward a second end (52) of the electric wire (5) relative to the upper tray (21) and the nonconforming item tray (23); a conforming/nonconforming determiner (14) to determine whether the electric wire (5) has been processed successfully; and a controller (9) to cause, upon determination by the conforming/nonconforming determiner (14) that the electric wire is a conforming item, the clamp (3R) to release its grip on the first end (51) of the electric wire (5) when the first end (51) is located over the upper tray (21), and to cause, upon determination by the conforming/nonconforming determiner (14) that the electric wire is a nonconforming item, the clamp (3R) to release its grip on the first end (51) of the electric wire (5) when the first end (51) is located over the nonconforming item tray (23).
