An adaptive cutting system is presented that facilitates cutting workpieces in new and different ways in a fun, easy, fast, accurate and safe manner. The system includes a benchtop having a grid of bench dog holes across its surface as well as a pair of table tracks embedded within its surface. An edge track extends around the benchtop and a pair of hinge members are connected to the edge tracks that also connect to a saw track that is movable between a raised and lowered position. The system also includes narrow rip stops, wide rip stops, bench dogs and a miter gauge all of which work in concert with the on-table features to facilitate on-table measurement and alignment of workpieces for performing cutting operations.

Sawing system, sawing support structure and a wire replacement unit and method
A leg cutting system with a leg support clamp 2 with a height for maintaining a structural integrity of the leg 1 during and after the leg 1 is cut. The system includes at least two leg support clamp parts joined in at least one clamp structure joint 11 with releasable mechanical fasteners for joining or releasing the at least two leg support clamp parts along the at least one clamp structure joint. A wire saw 6 with a wire saw support frame 7 and longitudinal saw tracks 16 for longitudinal displacement of the sawing wire along said longitudinal saw tracks 16 can be fixed to the leg support clamp. A wire replacement unit 9 with a plurality of sawing wires with a joint allowing the wires to be joined is located adjacent the wire saw. The embodiment(s) furthermore relates to a leg support clamp.
Coupling members and pipe machining apparatuses including coupling members
Coupling members and pipe machining apparatuses including coupling members are provided. In one aspect, a coupling member includes a shaft and an engagement member defining a cavity there through and including a projection. The shaft is at least partially positioned within the cavity and extends through the cavity, and the shaft is adapted to rotate relative to the engagement member. The coupling member also includes a plunger at least partially positioned within the cavity and movable relative to the engagement member, and further includes a biasing member at least partially positioned within the cavity between the plunger and the engagement member.
Portable saw assembly
A portable saw assembly for use in making square cuts in metal structural components. The portable saw assembly includes a clamping system to hold a work piece in a fixed position with respect to the rotating saw blade and the saw blade is constrained for movement toward and away from the work piece along a specific prescribed path that assures that the saw blade will encounter and then cut the work piece at a right angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the work piece. Thus, the portable saw assembly can be located on site of the construction and yet can be readily and easily used to cut the structural component along a square cut to facilitate the assembly of the ultimate structure. The clamping system includes clamping inserts to accommodate different sizes and geometric shapes of work pieces while still assuring a square cut thereof.
Bearing assembly for a pipe machining apparatus
Pipe machining apparatuses and bearing assemblies are provided. In one aspect, a pipe machining apparatus includes a frame, a tool carrier, a first roller bearing and a second roller bearing. The tool carrier is coupled to and movable relative to the frame and defines a race therein. The first roller bearing includes a first shaft and a first roller rotatably coupled to the first shaft. The first roller is at least partially positioned in the race and is rotatable about a first roller bearing axis adapted to remain substantially fixed relative to the frame. The second roller bearing includes a second shaft and a second roller rotatably coupled to the second shaft. The second roller is at least partially positioned in the race and is rotatable about a second roller bearing axis. The second roller bearing is adjustable to move the second roller bearing axis relative to the frame.
Cutting table for cutting a fiber preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving, and a cutting method using such a table
A cutting table for cutting out a fiber preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving and having two portions that are connected together by at least one zone of non-interlinking and that present outlines of different shapes, includes a tabletop provided with a recess for receiving one of the portions of the fiber preform to be cut out. The fiber preform is capable of laying flat in the access. The cutting table further includes sacrificial plates for interposing between the portions of the fiber preform for cutting out and for being fastened to the tabletop. The sacrificial plates are capable of covering partially the recess of the tabletop while being fastened to the tabletop. The cutting table also includes a cutting template configured to be pressed against a portion of the fiber preform that is positioned outside of the recess, and a device for applying compacting pressure against the cutting template.
Power saw miter cutting guide
A cutting guide includes a first guide structure having a base, a first saw support, and a second saw support. The first saw support is attached to the base and defines a first saw contact surface. The second saw support is attached to the base and defines a second saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the first saw contact surface so as to define an elongated cutting slot therebetween. The elongate cutting slot defines (i) a first slot portion, (ii) a second slot portion that is contiguous with the first slot portion, and (iii) a third slot portion that is contiguous with the second slot portion. The second slot portion is interposed between the first slot portion and the third slot portion.
Power saw crown molding cutting guide
A cutting guide includes a first guide structure and a second guide structure. The first guide structure includes (i) a first base, (ii) a first saw support attached to the first base and defining a first saw contact surface, and (iii) a second saw support attached to the first base and defining a second saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the first saw contact surface so as to define a first elongated cutting slot therebetween. The second guide structure includes (i) a second base, (ii) a third saw support attached to the second base and defining a third saw contact surface, and (iii) a fourth saw support attached to the second base and defining a fourth saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the third saw contact surface so as to define a second elongated cutting slot therebetween.
