Convertible check valve
A convertible check valve having a pair of valve body sections, each of which includes a central passageway extending through it is disclosed. Each passageway terminates at an elliptical port. A moveable flapper is located within the check valve between the valve body sections and is movable between a between a closed state and an opened state, and vice versa, to effect the selective closing and opening of the ports. The valve body sections are configured to be rotated 180 degrees with respect to each other so that they are in an either an axially aligned state or in an elbow state. The interface between the passageways is formed by two elliptical shaped planar surfaces, each extending at an angle of 45 degrees to the central axis of the associated passageway. The valve also includes a pressure relief assembly.
SELF-DRAINING MOUNT HEAD FOR TRANSMITTER
A self-draining transmitter mount head includes a head body with a transmitter process coupling port in the head body, an impulse port in the head body, and an impulse passage coupled to the impulse port. An impulse drain passage is coupled between the pressure transmitter port and the impulse passage. The impulse drain passage is positioned at an angle to the impulse passage, and relative to a head installation angle that positions the impulse drain passage to drain away from the transmitter process coupling port through a range of head installation angles.
Universal embedded system for sanitary faucet components
An universal embedding system (1) for sanitary faucets and fittings comprising three macro groups, a first universal embedding macro group, a second macro group of functional components (1B) such as mixers and switch valves and a third macro group of aesthetic parts (1C), wherein the first macro group comprises six connecting plugs for inlets (3) and outlets, which can freely be chosen.
Faucet valve housing assembly
A valve housing assembly includes a valve housing and a hollow cover. The valve housing includes an upper portion configured to couple to a valve cartridge and a lower portion configured to couple to one or more water supply lines. The hollow cover is configured to be coupled to the valve housing in a plurality of different orientations, and substantially surrounds, and sealingly engages, the valve housing. The valve housing assembly is configured to be coupled to, and received within, a plurality of faucets having different configurations.
Seat valve
A seat valve (10) is described having a valve body (12) which comprises at least two fluid openings (14, 16). Furthermore, the seat valve (10) comprises at least one valve seat (20), at least one valve element (22) which can be displaced in a translatory manner and at least one actuator (24) which is formed as an electro-active polymeric actuator and cooperates with the valve element (22).
Service valve for a valve body
A service valve for a valve body includes a base rotatable between an open orientation and a closed orientation relative to the valve body. When the base is in the open orientation, the service valve allows fluid flow into the valve body through the service valve. When the base is in the closed orientation, the service valve blocks the fluid flow into the valve body through the service valve. The service valve further includes a tab extending from the base. The tab prevents removal of a cover from the valve body when the base is in the open orientation.
Water supply valve
A water supply valve comprising a valve body having a first orifice and a second orifice, a rotatable valve shaft, and a handle. The rotatable valve shaft can be inserted into the first orifice or the second orifice, thereby converting the water supply valve from first configuration where the handle is on the left side to a second configuration where the handle is on the right side.
VALVE ASSEMBLIES FOR HEATING DEVICES
In certain embodiments, a valve assembly can comprise a housing, a valve body and a nozzle. The housing can define a first inlet and a second inlet. The valve body can be positioned within the housing and configured to rotate between a first position for a first fuel type and a second position for a second fuel type different from the first. A control knob is operatively coupled to the valve body and to an air shutter such that rotation of the control knob controls the state of the valve body and the position of the air shutter.
