Method for manufacturing laminated iron core
In a method for manufacturing a laminated iron core from a thin sheet, the method includes coining the thin sheet from above to form a thinned bridge portion on an outer peripheral portion of an iron core piece, blanking the iron core piece downwardly from the thin sheet using a set of an outer-shape blanking punch and a die after forming the bridge portion, wherein the outer-shape blanking punch includes a projection portion fitted into the bridge portion when blanking, and laminating the iron core piece on another iron core piece to manufacture the laminated iron core.
Array Cameras Incorporating Independently Aligned Lens Stacks
Array cameras, and array camera modules incorporating independently aligned lens stacks are disclosed. Processes for manufacturing array camera modules including independently aligned lens stacks can include: forming at least one hole in at least one carrier; mounting the at least one carrier relative to at least one sensor so that light passing through the at least one hole in the at least one carrier is incident on a plurality of focal planes formed by arrays of pixels on the at least one sensor; and independently mounting a plurality of lens barrels to the at least one carrier, so that a lens stack in each lens barrel directs light through the at least one hole in the at least one carrier and focuses the light onto one of the plurality of focal planes.
Modular, reduced-pressure, wound-closure systems and methods
A modular, reduced-pressure, wound-closure system for providing a closing force on a surface would includes a flexible strap operable to be formed into a closed loop inbound and around the surface wound and a plurality of modular closing members coupled to the flexible strap. A reduced-pressure source is fluidly coupled to the plurality of modular closing members. The modular closing members are operable to generate a closing force on the surface wound. A portion of the modular closing members are releasably attached to the patient's epidermis proximate the surface wound and another portion are attached to the flexible strap. A reduced pressure from the reduced-pressure source is delivered to each modular closing member to generate the closing force on the surface wound. Methods and other systems are presented.
