Delamination method, delamination device, and delamination system

A delamination method for delaminating a laminated substrate which includes a first and a second substrates bonded to each other, includes: adjusting a position of the laminated substrate at a holding unit by a position adjusting unit and disposing the holding unit at a predetermined height position; disposing a sharp member of a delamination inducing unit at a predetermined height position; detecting a contact of the sharp member by bringing the sharp member into contact with a side surface of one end portion of the laminated substrate; inserting the sharp member into the side surface of the one end portion of the laminated substrate; and delaminating the second substrate from the first substrate by a plurality of suction movement units which sucks the second substrate of the laminated substrate to move the second substrate away from the first substrate.

METHOD FOR CREATING SEPARATION START PORTION FOR LAYERED BODIES, DEVICE FOR CREATING SEPARATION START PORTION, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD

In a peeling starting portion preparing method of a laminate, for the laminate including a first substrate and a second substrate peelably attached via an adsorption layer, a knife is inserted with a predetermined amount from an end surface of the laminate into an interface between the first substrate and the adsorption layer so as to prepare the peeling starting portion at the interface. The knife includes a main body portion, a cutting edge portion continuous with the main body portion and tapered in a side view, and a ridge line which is a boundary between the main body portion and the cutting edge portion, and at least a part of the adsorption layer is scraped off by a ridge line portion including the ridge line.

Device for forming separation starting point, stack manufacturing apparatus, and method for forming separation starting point

A device for forming a separation starting point that allows separation of a surface layer of a processed member to form a remaining portion is provided. A manufacturing device of a stack including a support and a remaining portion of a processed member whose surface layer is separated is provided. The device for forming the separation starting point includes a stage that supports the processed member, a cutter that faces the stage, a head portion that supports the cutter, an arm portion that supports the head portion, and a moving mechanism that relatively moves the cutter to the stage.

An apparatus for manufacturing a display device and a method for manufacturing a display device includes a stage; a first guide unit positioned on one side of the stage in a first direction and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction; and a first peeling unit disposed on the first guide unit, wherein the first peeling unit includes a first moving part configured to move along the first guide unit, a first rotating part coupled to the other side of the first moving part in the first direction and configured to rotate about an axis extending in the first direction, and a first gripping part coupled to the other side of the first rotating part in the first direction and disposed to overlap the stage.

Material removal apparatus, system, and method

Disclosed herein is an apparatus for removing material from a surface of a carrier. The apparatus comprises a buckling mechanism that comprises a gripper configured to engage the material. When engaged with the material, the gripper is movable relative to the surface of the carrier to move the material relative to the surface of the carrier and to form a buckle in the material. The apparatus also comprises a separation mechanism that is coupled to the buckling mechanism and comprises a wedge that is movable relative to the surface of the carrier to be insertable into the buckle formed in the material.

Method for reducing label waste using a cutting apparatus

A method of reducing label waste that employs a stand-alone or printer attached apparatus for cleanly and efficiently cutting a web of media or tag stock into individual units. The apparatus used by the method may cut vinyl, plastic, or RFID stock material in both back and forth directions without sacrificing cut quality, and preferably comprises a housing, a carriage assembly and a movable cutter assembly. The cutter assembly comprises a cutting element such as a wheel blade, and a pressure adjusting element for adjusting the amount of pressure applied by the cutting element to the stock material. Alternatively, the cutter assembly may be manufactured with a predetermined pressure load, but still permit an operator to adjust the depth of cut. The method involves using the cutting apparatus to make a series of cuts as the label material is incrementally advanced through the cutting apparatus.

STAND-ALONE CUTTING APPARATUS

A stand-alone apparatus for cutting a web of media or tag stock into individual units for use downstream of a printer. The apparatus may cut vinyl, plastic, or RFID stock material in both back and forth directions. The apparatus comprises a housing, a carriage assembly and a movable cutter assembly. The cutter assembly is easily interchangeable and comprises a cutting element such as a wheel blade, and a pressure adjusting element for adjusting the amount of pressure applied by the cutting element to the stock material. Alternatively, the cutter assembly may be manufactured with a predetermined pressure load, but still permit an operator to adjust the depth of cut. The apparatus may be powered by and or in hardline or wireless communication with a printer, or may further comprise a computer microprocessor, memory and user interface to function wholly independent from a printer.
