Camera housing and draw latch
A camera housing includes a first and second housing portion and a draw latch. The first housing portion includes a monolithic panel base hinge. The second housing portion is pivotally coupled to the first housing portion. The draw latch secures the first and second housing portions to enclose a camera. The draw latch is coupled to the first housing portion and coupleable to the second housing portion. The draw latch includes a draw hook and a mid-linkage. The mid-linkage includes a draw hook hinge end, a draw hook lip end, and first and second segments. The draw hook hinge end rotatably connects to the draw latch. The first segment couples first sides of the draw hook hinge end and the draw hook lip end to one another. The second segment couples the draw hook hinge end and the draw hook lip end together. The mid-linkage is plastic and substantially rigid.
Firearm associated electronic device with acceleration resistant latch
Firearm associated electronic devices are provided. In one aspect a firearm associated device has a housing having a holding area and an opening through which a removable component may be positioned in the holding area, a door movable relative to the housing and having a door latch that moves along a path as the door moves and a housing latch movable between a first latch position where the housing latch is not in the path to a second latch position where the housing latch blocks movement of the door latch from a first range of positions where the door prevents the removable component from passing through the opening to a second range of positions where the door does not prevent the removable component from passing through the opening. A housing latch biasing member biases the housing latch into the second latch position. When the door latch is in the first range of positions and the housing latch is in the second latch position the door latch is movable along the path but is blocked by the housing latch from passing to the second range of positions.
Thermal box
The present invention discloses a thermal box comprising a body; the body comprises a box body, a box cover and locking devices provided on a front side and a rear side of the body respectively; the snap fastening seat is fixed on the box body; two extended lugs are provided on the box cover; the snap fastening seat is provided with a pivot seat between the two extended lugs; two mounting lugs are provided on a top side of the snap fastening member; the two extended lugs are positioned between the two mounting lugs and interconnected thereto via a rotating shaft to rotate inwards and outwards; a fastening structure which fastens by pressing inwards and unfastens by pulling outwards is provided on the inner side of the snap fastening member and the snap fastening seat.
SLIDING DOOR LATCH SYSTEMS AND METHOD
A sliding door latch system and method is disclosed herein. The sliding door latch system is used to prevent movement of a sliding door between a closed position and an open position relative to a fixed door frame. The device may be installed as a secondary safety latch on a sliding door having a primary latch that is located at an elevation within the reach of the child. The device may be installed at an elevation above the reach of the child, but readily within the reach of an adult user. The sliding door latch includes a latch arm located outside the sliding door to simplify installation. The latch arm is user-locatable in a latched position, a momentarily released position, and a held-in-release position.
LATCH AND CATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch and catch assembly including a catch attachable to a first structure such as a door, and a latch mechanism attachable to a second structure such as a cabinet, the latch mechanism and the catch cooperating to secure the first structure relative to the second structure. The latch mechanism includes first and second hooks mounted for pivoting movement between an engagement position for engaging with the catch and a disengagement position for disengaging from the catch, a translating gear rail positioned between the first and second hooks coordinating pivoting movement of the first and second hooks, and an actuator mechanism for driving movement of the translating gear rail to drive the first and second hooks toward their disengagement position.
Gate latch accessory aid
A gate latch accessory aid is fashioned as an arcuate tube, tubes, half-pipe or half-pipes having a rectangular mounting plate or plates located at each end. The gate latch accessory aid is fence post-mountable and provides smooth operation of a gate latching mechanism. The aid provides protection of actuating rope/cable and wooden portions of the gate guide system.
LEVER-LOCK RELEASE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lever-lock release system is configured to releasably couple two objects together, for example a parachute and a payload. The lever-lock release system may comprise a first lever and a second lever, each rotatably coupled to a rigid base. When activated, the levers cascadingly rotate to release a first object and a second object. With these systems and related methods, various failure modes may be eliminated, such as undesired premature deployment of recovery parachutes during aerial delivery.
Actuating system for an actuatable door and an actuatable door having such an actuating system
An actuating system for an actuatable door that comprises at least one latching device with a latching hook that is adapted for locking the actuatable door in a closed position, the latching hook being pivotally mounted to an associated pivot bearing and connected to a pivotable mechanical transmission element via a coupling link, which is pivotally mounted to the latching hook and to the pivotable mechanical transmission element, the pivotable mechanical transmission element being coupled to a rotatable latching shaft, wherein rotation of the rotatable latching shaft in operation results in pivoting of the pivotable mechanical transmission element and pivoting of the latching hook around the associated pivot bearing, wherein the pivotable mechanical transmission element is mounted onto the rotatable latching shaft. The invention is further related to an actuatable door having such an actuating system.
Locking unit for a vehicle seat, and vehicle seat
A locking unit (10) for a vehicle seat (1) includes a pawl (80) which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position and has a retaining contour (27) for securing a locking pin (12) in the closed position. At least one claw (90, 91, 92) is mounted pivotably about the same pivot axis in a manner offset in the axial direction with respect to the pawl (80). The claw (90, 91, 92) has a closing contour (25). The pawl (80) is pivotable from the open position into the closed position by the closing contour (25) being acted upon by the locking pin (12).
