COMPONENT JOINING STRUCTURE
There is provided a component joining structure that includes: a resin component; a metal tip that is provided in the resin component by insert molding, and that includes protruding portions that protrude from the resin component; and a metal component that is spot welded to the protruding portions, and that is joined to the resin component by an adhesive agent that is provided in gaps formed, by the protruding portions, between the resin component and the metal component.
Composite product with junction structure
A composite product having a junction structure includes a first unit formed of a composite material, a first connector formed of a metal and provided with one end inserted into one end of the first unit and formed integrally with the first unit and another end extending outwards from the first unit, a second unit formed of a composite material, and a second connector formed of a metal and provided with one end inserted into one end of the second unit and formed integrally with the second unit and another end extending outwards from the second unit, wherein the other end of the first connector and the other end of the second connector are joined and fixed by welding under a condition that the ends of the first unit and the second unit are opposite each other adjacently.
Device and method for fastening a component comprising at least one opening on a carrier part
Device for fastening a component comprising at least one opening on a carrier part characterized by at least one fastening element projecting from the carrier part and welded to the carrier part, on which fastening element the component can be fastened, by mounting the component with its at least one opening onto the at least one fastening element, wherein the at least one fastening element comprises at least one elastic locking element, which locks on the component opening when the component is mounted on the fastening element.
FIXATION DEVICE FOR SECURING A LINEAR ELEMENT TO A WORKPIECE
A fixation device for securing a linear element to a workpiece includes a contact component and a fixation component. The contact component typically includes (i) a first contact surface for application to a workpiece and (ii) a first opening for receiving a linear element. The fixation component typically secures a portion of the linear element on a side of the first contact component opposite the first contact surface. The fixation component engages the contact component to prevent passage of the linear element's secured portion through the workpiece when a tension is applied to the linear element in a direction opposite the contact surface.
Base for vehicle glazing unit, glazing unit, method for manufacturing the glazing unit, and use of the base
A vehicle glazing unit including a glazed element and at least one base for reversible attachment of an accessory to the glazed element, the base including an aperture for passage of the accessory, the base including a non-flat outer face which is fastened opposite a non-flat inner face of the glazed element. The outer face includes two adhesive strips each having an elongate shape and both positioned lengthwise along the transverse horizontal axis of the glazing unit.
Break-away thermal blanket joint
A thermal blanket system is provided on an aircraft component to protect the component, for example, from engine heat. The component has a latch half attached thereto, which is also covered by the thermal blanket system. In some scenarios, the latch half may need to be detached from the component because the latch was stuck closed. The thermal blanket system includes a portion thereof which overlaps the latch half and breaks away from the remainder of the thermal blanket system when the latch half is detached.
Method for connecting two vehicle components and/or two non-vehicle components
A method is provided for connecting a first component to a second component. The two components are placed against each other and pre-fixed, wherein the two components are attached and immovably connected to each other at at least one first connection point via a first detachable component connection and are attached and connected to each other so as to be movable relative to each other in a sliding direction at at least one second connection point via a second detachable component connection. The pre-fixed components are rigidly connected, in particular, by welding.
Fixing element, method for welding a fixing element to a component and component connection
A fixing element has a base area that is provided for the purpose of being welded to a component, and a functional head protruding from a base area that is formed by at least one spherical, or sphere-like element. The fixing element may be welded to a first component and function as a male fixing element that cooperates with a female fixing element of a second component such that the first and second components are detachably connectable via the fixing elements.
Method for Producing a Component Connection and Component Connection
A component connection has a first component, which consists of a metal material, a ball likewise consisting of a metal material, which is welded to the first component, and a second component which has a through-hole and a collar which projects from a top side of the second component, is bent upwards and extends circumferentially around the through-hole. The two components are joined to each other such that the ball projecting from the first component projects into the through-hole provided in the second component or even partially through the through-hole. The second component is arranged so that the collar protrudes from the first component. The second component is a sandwich component which has a middle layer of a plastic material, the middle layer being located between an upper metal layer and a lower metal layer.
Apparatus for mounting a printed circuit board
A circuit board mounting arrangement is provided including a circuit board and a press fit mounting bushing including a cylindrical inner piece and an outer piece secured to the inner piece. The outer piece has a plurality of radially projecting, deformable elements and the circuit board has a cylindrical opening having a diameter less than an outer diameter of the radially projecting deformable elements. The deformable elements deform when the mounting bushing is pushed into the cylindrical opening of the circuit board so as to hold the mounting bushing to the circuit board. The circuit board and press fit bushing are then overmolded.
