BATTERY CONNECTOR FOR ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE WITH SIDE AIR INTAKE
The cylindrical connector includes a major body, the major body defining a longitudinal channel through a longitudinal length of the major body from a proximal portion through a distal portion, the proximal portion including a shaft with side walls. The connector further includes a flange located between the proximal portion and the distal portion, the flange at least partially defining at least a first portion of at least one first aperture in communication with the longitudinal channel. A distal portion of the major body being configured to attach to the first section of the e-vaping device and the proximal portion of the major body being configured to attach to the second section of the e-vaping device in order to define an airflow path that enters the longitudinal channel through the at least one first aperture and flows through the proximal portion of the major body.
Connector assembly for an article of furniture
A connector assembly for connecting the free ends of the adjacent panels of a ready to assemble article of furniture together when assembled, said connector assembly comprising a male connector having opposite ends insertable into respective opposing receiving apertures provided in adjacent ends of the panels, each end of said male connector being provided with retaining means to retain the ends of the male connectors in said respective apertures and a ready to assemble article of furniture comprising a plurality of substantially rigid panels attached together end to end, the ends of the panels being bevelled or otherwise shaped such that the panels can be folded to bring said ends into abutting relationship to define a polygonal article, wherein said panels are attached together by means of a flexible sheet material extending between the panels.
Battery connector for electronic cigarette with side air intake
A novel electronic cigarette battery male connector that can be retrofitted to existing female cartomizer connectors is described. An air intake path starts at the outer circumference of the connector between the battery and the cartomizer of the electronic cigarette, running inside a notch on the connector. The air is brought into the battery through grooves formed on the distal end of the connector. Once inside the battery, the air path loops around and exits the battery housing towards the cartomizer, via a hole along the central axis of connector. In accordance with the desired air-intake path, the notch is cut out on the side of connector at strategic location and with strategic geometry.
METHOD OF FORMING CONNECTOR WITH FLANGE AND SHAFT
The method includes first defining a longitudinal channel in a major body, the major body including a first portion, a second portion and a flange, the flange being located between the first portion and the second portion, the longitudinal channel traversing through a longitudinal length of the major body from the first portion through the second portion, the first portion including a shaft, and second defining a first side end of the flange, the first side end at least partially defining a first segment of at least one first airflow inlet, the first segment being in communication with the longitudinal channel.
Shaft system
A shaft system for transmitting a torque includes a first component configured to deliver torque from a drive shaft, a first shaft connectable to the first component, and a second shaft connectable to, and axial extendable relative to, the first shaft. The first shaft includes a toothed structure configured to mate with a toothed structure of the first component in a first coupling, and to mate with a toothed structure of the second shaft in a second coupling, such that in operation of the shaft system, torque is transferred from the first component to the second shaft via the first shaft.
Quick connect mechanism for mounting of medical instruments
A quick connect mechanism for a medical instrument is provided. The quick connect mechanism includes a post and a mating cup that allows for quick mounting, controlled use, and easy dismounting of medical instruments. A set of post teeth are disposed circumferentially around a body proximate a base of the post and are configured to mate and interlock with a set of cup teeth disposed proximate the cup. The post teeth and cup teeth interlock to restrict rotation of the cup relative to the post and stabilize the medical instrument.
