Quick Disconnect Securement Device
A quick disconnect device for detachably holding a long gun or other elongated emergency tool (EET). The quick disconnect device receives and captures the ball of a ball-and-stem structure that is attached to the EET. The quick disconnect device may allow the EET to rotate about the central axis of the stem, but otherwise prevents relative translational and rotational motion between the EET and the quick disconnect device. The quick disconnect device is especially suitable for mounting to clothing, such as a utility belt or a ballistic vest. the quick disconnect device allows the EET to be inserted without requiring the user to directly manipulate the quick connection device, but requires the user to manipulate some sort of mechanism on the quick connect device in order to release the EET.
Umbrella pole
A multi-piece umbrella pole that includes first and second pole sections that are assembled into an elongate umbrella pole. The pole sections include an alignment notch and cross pin for facilitating assembly of the two pole sections. An outer sleeve includes a button assembly that can actuate a detent pin for coupling or decoupling the pole sections. The outer sleeve can also include an actuator for a tilt mechanism that angles a canopy portion of the umbrella assembly.
Soft Recoil System
One embodiment of a gun configured with the soft recoil system comprises a plurality of recoiling parts that initially moves in the direction of the projectile being fired before moving in a direction opposite to that of a projectile during the firing of the round. The soft recoil system throttles the movement of the recoiling parts such that the energy expended during the firing of the round is spread over a longer time period and a longer distance than would normally occur. The soft recoil system stores at least a portion of the energy transferred to the recoiling parts and the user may selectively release at least a part of that portion of energy to offset the energy imparted to the gun during the firing of the next round.
QUICK-MOUNTING ACCESSORY FOR A TRUCK
A cargo bay accessory for inserting into a cargo bay of a truck, the cargo bay accessory having opposing stepped side walls forming horizontal support surfaces at different elevations, wherein the support surfaces on one side are at the same elevation as the support surfaces on the opposite side, and wherein the lower support surfaces are laterally spaced closer together than higher support surfaces.
POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR SEAT OF A BATHING CHAIR
A positioning system for seat of a bathing chair comprises: a bearing assembly, which is mounted at the bottom of a seat of a bathing chair and can glide on the upper girder, wherein the bearing assembly is hold on the top pin of the upper girder; an axis, which is rotatable in the said bearing assembly; and a swing element, which is mounted on the axis and makes the top pin retracted in the upper girder; wherein at the top of the bearing assembly there is a joint groove with an upward opening; wherein the axis is set in the joint groove through the opening of the joint groove of the bearing assembly; by the combination of the joint groove with the axis it is achieved that product yield is improved and assembly is set in the joint groove.
Coupler
A locking mechanism to secure a coupler's jaw, and a coupler incorporating the locking mechanism.
Quick-mounting accessory for a truck
An apparatus and method for quickly mounting an accessory in the cargo bay of a truck is disclosed. Quick-mount devices lock onto tailgate pivot members of the cargo bay of the truck. The quick-mount devices may utilize locking tubes that extend laterally to engage the tailgate pivot members and secure the accessory, or retract laterally to release the tailgate pivot members and remove the accessory. In one embodiment the accessory is a dump insert. In a further embodiment the dump insert has stepped walls.
Battery pack release with tactile feedback for cordless power tools
Battery packs include a battery pack housing, at least one battery release member held by the battery housing, a (blind) latch held by the battery pack housing in communication with the battery release member that releaseably locks the battery pack to a device, and a tactile feedback mechanism that is held by the battery pack housing and is in communication with the battery release member. The tactile feedback mechanism generates a tactile feedback that reduces or increases an application force required by a user to manually actuate the at least one release member. The tactile feedback transmitted through the at least one battery release member. The tactile feedback is generated when the at least one release member has been manually actuated by the user a sufficient distance to allow the user to easily remove the battery pack from the device.
TIME-DELAYED LATCH
A device, system, and method are described. In one embodiment, the device includes a latch. The latch at different times is located in at least a rest position and a non-rest position. The latch receiving a manipulation force to move the latch from the rest position to the non-rest position. The latch is capable of delaying its return to the rest position after a period of time.
Device for locking a vehicle seat
A device for locking a vehicle seat has a pawl which can be pivoted about a first pivot axis and, in a closed position, is in engagement with a positionally fixed fitting and, in an open position, is free from the fitting, wherein the pawl has a first clamping surface, furthermore a locking element for locking the pawl in the closed position, which locking element can be pivoted about a second pivot axis and has a second clamping surface which, in a locking position, bears against the first clamping surface and, in the process, keeps the pawl in the closed position, and, in an unlocking position, is free from the first clamping surface, and an actuating element which interacts with the locking element in order to transfer the locking element into the unlocking position. A stop is provided for the actuating element in such a manner that, upon action of a torque exerted by the pawl on the locking element, the actuating element interacts in a blocking manner with the stop and blocks the further movement of the locking element before the latter reaches the unlocking position. In the region of the second clamping surface, the locking element has a material which is softer than a material which the pawl has in the region of the first clamping surface, and the pawl has a projection on which the first clamping surface is at least partially formed.
