Tactical accessory attachment system
10247520 · 2019-04-02 ·

A quick attachment coupling system to attach tactical or tool accessories, providing the ability to interchange accessories on the fly, which can be modified to fit or be integrated to the magazine base of a pistol, the fore-end of a long gun, the exterior of wearable tactical gear, or any other supporting structure. The coupling system includes a dock. Each accessory tool is fitted with a tang which slides into a tang slot in the dock where it is automatically secured for use by a spring-loaded lock switch. A core plug in the tang slot holds the lock switch in an unlocked position when the accessory tool is uncoupled from the dock.

Coupling mechanisms for detachably engaging tool attachments

Coupling mechanisms for engaging and releasing a tool attachment such as a socket from a drive element include an engaging element and an actuating element. The actuating element can include a collar or other manually-accessible part, and various features allow for a relatively small outside diameter for the collar or other part. These features include configuring the actuating element to contact the engaging element within the drive element, placing the biasing elements within the drive element, and forming guides for parts of the actuating element within the drive element. Also, the engaging element can move along a direction that is oriented at an oblique angle to the longitudinal axis of the drive element, in whole or in part. The engaging element can have a first part that moves obliquely in the drive element and a second part that moves radially in the drive element to engage the tool attachment.

Coupler for Cable Trough
20190064467 · 2019-02-28 ·

Couplers for a cable trough system including a terminal end sized to receive a terminal end of a trough member along a longitudinal direction of the body. A spring may be coupled to the body for securing the terminal end of the trough member to the coupler, the spring including first and second spring arms extending generally in opposition to one another in a plane generally parallel to the longitudinal direction. The spring may be received in a slot formed by the trough member. Also included may be a spring release mechanism coupled to the body, the spring release mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction between a locked position, such that the first and second spring arms engage the terminal end of the trough, and an unlocked position, such that the first and second fingers release the first and second arms of the spring.

LOCKING/ INDEXING PIN
20180363800 · 2018-12-20 ·

A locking pin assembly having a body including a wall defining an interior space and having at least one aperture therethrough for allowing fluid communication between the interior space and an exterior environment. A barrel defines a bore and has an outer wall with external threads. A pin travels longitudinally within the interior space of the body and the bore of the barrel. A spring actuated assembly maintains an end of the pin in an extended position relative to an end of the barrel when no force is applied to the pin and allows the pin to retract relative to the end of the barrel when a force is applied to the pin.

A fastening apparatus for an electronic device (3) and a method for fastening a sensor housing (2) having a fastening flange (4) and having a fastening base (6), wherein the fastening flange (4) is configured to be positioned in a passage opening (8) in the fastening base (6) and wherein the fastening flange (4) is configured to be locked in the fastening base (6), a fixing slider (10) being displaceably arranged at the fastening base (6) to lock and/or to release the fastening flange (4) in the fastening base (6).

Quick coupler having spring applied, hydraulically released primary and secondary lock members mounted on same cross shaft

A quick coupler primary lock arrangement includes a fore-and-aft guided wedge arrangement carried by a cross shaft and is biased forwardly to a lock position by a first spring arrangement, and includes a secondary lock arrangement includes a locking pawl arrangement pivotally mounted to the cross shaft and biased, by a second spring arrangement, to a secondary lock position wherein the pawl arrangement includes a surface disposed in a confronting locking disposition relative to an abutment surface of a fixed plate of the coupler to thereby prevent rearward movement of the wedge arrangement from the lock position. A normally depressurized hydraulic cylinder is coupled to the pawl arrangement and when selectively pressurized overcomes spring biasing forces and pivots the pawl arrangement from the secondary locking position and then shifts the wedge arrangement rearward to a coupler release position. An electro-hydraulic control arrangement prevents unintentional operation of the hydraulic cylinder.
