A spring latching connector includes a housing having a bore therethrough, a piston slidably received in said bore, a circular groove formed in one of said bore and piston and a circular coil spring disposed in said groove for latching said piston and housing together. The groove is sized and shaped for controlling, in combination with a spring configuration, disconnect and connect forces of the spring latching connection.

Connectors and adapters with auto-latching features

Fiber optic connectors and adapters may be automatically secured and released via a management system. Such automation may inhibit accidental and/or unauthorized insertion of fiber optic connectors into adapter ports. The automation also may inhibit accidental and/or unauthorized removal of the fiber optic connectors from the adapter ports.

A temporary fastener a plunger having a distal portion including a plurality of plunger fingers, where depressing the plunger causes axial translation of a collet body to place the temporary fastener in an activated state where a plurality of flexible fingers in the collet body radially converge and where releasing the plunger places the temporary fastener in a clamped state in which the plurality of flexible fingers in the collet body are outwardly displaced. The temporary fastener further includes a web element positioned at a proximal end of a rod and including a plurality of opening permitting the plurality of plunger fingers to axially translate there through during depression and release of the plunger. The temporary fastener further includes a spring positioned within a case and exerting a restorative force on the collet body and the plunger in response to depression of the plunger.

Quick release rotor attachment systems and methods

Provided herein is a rotor attachment assembly for an aircraft. A rotor attachment assembly includes a connecting assembly associated with the aircraft and a rotor assembly configured to be connected to the connecting assembly. The rotor assembly includes a plurality of fins configured to fit a respective plurality of cut-outs of the connecting assembly, a hollow section configured to accommodate at least a part of a pin of the connecting assembly so as to center the rotor assembly relative to the connecting assembly, and a spring configured to expand to allow the fins to pass and to close to retain the fins when the rotor assembly is connected to the connecting assembly.

A connector includes a base, a connecting part and a coupling piece. One end of the connecting part is connected to the base. The coupling piece is arranged on the other end of the connecting part, and includes a sliding channel having an open end located on a side edge of the coupling piece and an opposite closed end. A maximum linear distance of an outer periphery of the connecting part is less than that of the coupling piece. Another connector includes a base plate, two parallel side plates arranged on the base plate, a front plate connected to the two side plates and having a tapered positioning slot, and a positioning portion arranged on the base plate and adapted for reciprocal movement in a direction perpendicular to the base plate. The base plate, the two side plates and the front plate form an accommodating groove.

Mechanical trigger device and methods thereof

A mechanical trigger device comprises a reset screw configured to re-assemble the mechanical trigger device. The resettable screw may be disposed in a slot in a housing of the mechanical trigger device and coupled to a firing pin disposed within the housing. The reset screw may be configured to translate the firing pin within the housing and re-engage a sear after use of the mechanical trigger device.

Molded part for a nozzle core, nozzle core and stuff-crimping device for crimping, expansion kit, locking device and setting element as well as method therefor

The invention focuses on a molded part (12) for a nozzle core (60) for stuffer-box crimping of threads. The molded part includes a ceramic body (121) with a planar surface (122). Receiving contours (124) for receiving fastening means (50) are arranged in the planar surface (122). The receiving contours (124) are open in the lateral direction.

Lifting bar and lifting bar connector

A patient lift connector for attaching and detaching a patient lifting bar to a load supporting member in a patient lifting system is described. The connector includes a connector body including a connecting block configured to be fixedly attached to the patient lifting bar. The connector also includes a pin holder coupled to the load supporting member and configured to be inserted through the connector body and into the connecting block, and an attachment latch secured to the connector body and configured to move between an open position and a closed position within the connector body. When the attachment latch moves from the closed position to the open position, the pin holder is allowed to be inserted into the connecting block and thereby allow the lifting bar to be attached to the load supporting member.
