DRUM UNIT, CARTRIDGE AND COUPLING MEMBER
A drum unit for a cartridge includes a cylindrical photosensitive drum having an axis L1 and a coupling member operatively connected to the photosensitive drum. The coupling member includes a first member having a cylindrical portion, a part of the first member being positioned inside of the photosensitive drum and a part of the first member being positioned outside of the photosensitive drum. The coupling member also includes a second member operatively connected to first member, the second member including a plurality of arm portions that are movable relative to the first member, with at least a part of each of the arm portions being positioned inside of the photosensitive drum and inside of the first member.
DRUM UNIT, CARTRIDGE AND COUPLING MEMBER
A drum unit for a cartridge includes a cylindrical photosensitive drum having an axis L1 and a coupling member operatively connected to the photosensitive drum. The coupling member includes a drum flange provided at an end of the photosensitive drum, with a part of the drum flange being positioned inside of the photosensitive drum, and a connecting part operatively connected to the drum flange. The connecting part includes a cap positioned adjacent to the drum flange, an arm portion extending from the cap in a direction of the axis L1, and a projection projecting from the arm portion in a direction perpendicular to the axis L1, with the projection being movable between a first position and a second position, and with an end of the projection being closer to the axis L1 in the first position than in the second position.
BOOT ASSEMBLY FOR A JOINT MEMBER
A boot assembly for a joint includes a boot and a boot can coupled to the boot at a connecting portion. The boot can includes a mounting portion including a flange having an inner surface and a retainer. The retainer is connected to the flange at a first location and is separate from the flange at a second location spaced from the first location. The retainer includes an inward portion spaced from the first location, and the inward portion is arranged closer to the axis than is the inner surface of the retainer between the first location and a midpoint of the retainer. The inner surface of the retainer is not at a constant angle relative to the axis along the length of the retainer.
LOCKING MECHANISMS IN SEPARABLE AND REPAIRABLE DEVICES
Locking mechanisms and separable, repairable (e.g., electronic) devices having locking mechanisms are described herein. In one example, a locking mechanism includes a chassis having a base, a first side wall extending from a surface of the base, and a second side wall extending from the surface of the base. A cavity is provided in a volume formed by the first side wall, the second side wall, and the surface of the base, wherein the cavity is configured to receive a mating component of the device. The locking mechanism also includes a cantilevered plate having a first end and a second, opposite end, wherein the cantilevered plate is attached to the first side wall of the chassis at or adjacent to the first end, and wherein the second end of the cantilevered plate is positioned with the cavity.
Coupler for Cable Trough
Couplers for a cable trough system including a terminal end sized to receive a terminal end of a trough member along a longitudinal direction of the body. A spring may be coupled to the body for securing the terminal end of the trough member to the coupler, the spring including first and second spring arms extending generally in opposition to one another in a plane generally parallel to the longitudinal direction. The spring may be received in a slot formed by the trough member. Also included may be a spring release mechanism coupled to the body, the spring release mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction between a locked position, such that the first and second spring arms engage the terminal end of the trough, and an unlocked position, such that the first and second fingers release the first and second arms of the spring.
Drum unit, cartridge and coupling member
A developing cartridge includes a coupling member provided adjacent to a first end of a casing. The coupling member is operatively connected to a developing roller, and the coupling member is rotatable about a rotational axis thereof. The coupling member includes (i) a cylindrical portion, (ii) a first projection at least partially positioned inside of the cylindrical portion, (iii) a second projection at least partially positioned inside of the cylindrical portion, (iv) an elastically movable projection at least partially positioned inside of the cylindrical portion, and (v) a wall extending in a direction perpendicular to the rotational axis and positioned between a second end of the casing and the first and second projections.
