At least a first layer of one of the one or more ceramic layers is a columnar layer having as-deposited columns and intercolumn gaps. The intercolumn gaps have a mean width at least one of: at least 4.0 micrometers; and at least 1.5% of a thickness of said first layer.

Provided is a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet to be used for home appliances, vehicles, and the like, and having excellent surface appearance and low-temperature bonding brittleness. The hot-dip galvanized steel sheet includes: a base steel sheet; and a hot-dip galvanized layer formed on the base steel sheet. A surface of the base steel sheet has a centerline average roughness (Ra) of 0.3 or more, a roughness skewness (Rsk) of −1 or less, and a roughness kurtosis (Rku) of 6 or more.

High-strength hot-dip coated hot-rolled steel sheet and method for manufacturing the same
A high-strength hot-dip coated hot-rolled steel sheet excellent in terms of surface appearance quality and coating adhesiveness and a method for manufacturing. The method includes performing hot rolling followed by pickling on steel to form a pickled steel sheet, the steel having a chemical composition containing, by mass %, C: 0.02% or more and 0.30% or less, Si: 0.01% or more and 1.0% or less, Mn: 0.3% or more and 2.5% or less, P: 0.08% or less, S: 0.02% or less, Al: 0.001% or more and 0.20% or less, and Fe and inevitable impurities. The method further includes performing rolling with a rolling reduction ratio of 1% or more and 10% or less, and a hot-dip coating treatment. The obtained steel sheet has an arithmetic average roughness Ra of 2.0 μm or less on the surface of the steel sheet, and a tensile strength of 590 MPa or more.

Metal composite wire
The present invention discloses a metal composite wire capable of increasing a tightness degree of copper-aluminum bonding. The metal composite wire includes a metal core rod. Continuous spiral grooves are formed in a surface of the core rod. The core rod is cladded with a metal cladding layer with higher electrical conductivity than the core rod. The extremely thin copper foil with a carrier includes a carrier composed of a glass or ceramic material; an intermediate layer provided on the carrier and composed of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ti, Al, Nb, Zr, Cr, W, Ta, Co, Ag, Ni, In, Sn, Zn, Ga, and Mo; a release layer provided on the intermediate layer and including a carbon sublayer and a metal oxide sublayer or containing metal oxide and carbon; and an extremely thin copper layer provided on the release layer.
