OXYGEN SCAVENGING FILMS, PACKAGES, AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed herein films and packages formed therefrom for packaging oxygen-sensitive products. The films include a product contact layer comprising COC and catalyst. Introduction of a gas flush including hydrogen gas to a package made from said films helps provide for the catalytic combination of molecular hydrogen and molecular oxygen to remove oxygen from a headspace of the package.
Textile
A textile with high weave density which comprises a main-yarn made of a Japanese paper yarn and a sub-yarn thinner than the main-yarn interwoven with each other, wherein the textile has a weave texture structure including warps A and wefts A made of the main-yarn, and warps B and wefts B made of the sub-yarn, wherein in the weave texture structure, warp rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of warps B are located between two warps A and weft rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of wefts B are located between two wefts A, and wherein the warps A and the wefts A cross each other in a plain weave texture structure.
Prosthetic liner with continuous distal end area
A tubular liner has an open proximal end and a closed-end distal area, and a fabric layer continuously defining an exterior surface of the liner without interruption. A polymeric layer having first and second surfaces is bonded to an interior surface of the fabric layer. A seam is formed by opposed sides of the fabric layer joined together and forming an excess portion directed toward the cavity of the liner. The excess portion is embedded in the polymeric layer.
CYCLODEXTRIN COMPOSITIONS, ARTICLES, AND METHODS
Cyclodextrin compositions including one or more radiation polymerizable monomers and a cyclodextrin inclusion complex, the cyclodextrin inclusion complex including a cyclodextrin compound and an olefinic inhibitor of an ethylene generation in produce, are coated onto packaging materials and cured. Treated containers and treated package inserts having the cured cyclodextrin compositions are useful in packaging of respiring plant materials.
Packaging material formulations and packages constructed therefrom
A film for packaging useable with foodstuffs comprising a paperboard or biopolymer base material, a base coat structure, a metallized layer, and a top coat structure. The base coat structure has one or more layers, each having a weight less than or equal to 1% of the base material and of differing chemical composition and the sum is less than or equal to 5% of the structure weight. The metallized layer is on the base coat structure to an optical density of between 2.0 and 4.5. The top coat structure has an outer and an inner layer, with each layer less than or equal to 1% of the weight of the base material and of differing chemical composition. A bag made from such a film is likewise disclosed, as is a film without a metallized layer.
THERMAL INSULATION LINERS
Provided herein are products, methods, and kits, for use in regulating the temperature of an object. The present invention relates to thermal insulating liners for regulating the temperature of perishable goods or temperature sensitive products. The thermal insulating liners generally may be dimensioned to fit within a container. The thermal insulating liners may be quickly collapsed and reconstructed to improve stackability and diminish the amount of space required to store the thermal insulating liners prior to use.
EXPANDING STORAGE BAGS
A thermoplastic bag includes raised rib-like elements that allow the thermoplastic bag to expand. The thermoplastic bag further includes side seals having rib-like elements that allow the side seals to expand. Additionally, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes one or more of a material formulation, a density of raised rib-like elements, a height of raised rib-like elements, or land areas that provide the raised rib-like elements with a reduced rebound ratio.
Multilayer assembly
The invention pertains to a multilayer assembly comprising: (L1) a first inner layer [layer (L1)] made from a first composition [composition (C1)], said composition (C1) comprising: at least one polymer comprising recurring units derived from ethylene (E) and from chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE), and at least one Ti compound; and (L2) a second outer layer [layer (L2)] made from a second composition [composition (C2)], said composition (C2) being substantially free from TiO.sub.2-containing additives, said second composition comprising at least one semi-crystalline polymer comprising recurring units derived from ethylene and from at least one fluoromonomer selected from chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE), tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and mixtures thereof, said semi-crystalline polymer having a heat of fusion of at least 35 J/g [polymer (A)].

PRODUCT WITH BIODEGRADABLE PORTION
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a medical product with a biodegradable portion. The biodegradable portion is made of a biodegradable material and the biodegradable portion degrades faster than the remaining portion of the medical product.
