Container closure made of metal or plastic
A closure made of metal or plastic for a container for accommodating beverages or food has a mouth opening which is to be closed by the container closure. The container closure has a sealing insert which is arranged such that it closes the mouth opening with sealing action when the container closure is fitted on the container. The container closure, including the sealing insert, does not contain any halogen-containing material, and the sealing insert comprises at least two different polymers, of which at least one is a barrier polymer with a Shore D hardness of at most 40 and oxygen permeability of at most 1000 cm.sup.3.Math.100 μm/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.bar and, without the Shore D hardness being limited, with oxygen permeability of at most 10 cm.sup.3.Math.100 μm/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.bar.
Glass containers and sealing assemblies for maintaining seal integrity at low storage temperatures
A sealed pharmaceutical container includes a shoulder, a neck extending from the shoulder, and a flange extending from the neck. The flange includes an inclined sealing surface defining an opening in the sealed pharmaceutical container. The sealed pharmaceutical container also includes a sealing assembly including a stopper extending over the sealing surface of the flange and a cap securing the stopper to the flange. The stopper has a glass transition temperature (T.sub.g) that is greater than or equal to −70° C. and less than or equal to −45° C. The sealing assembly maintains a helium leakage rate of the sealed pharmaceutical container of less than or equal to 1.4×10.sup.−6 cm.sup.3/s as the sealed pharmaceutical container is cooled to a temperature of less than or equal to −45° C.
Resin composition and medical drug container using same
A medicine container which absorbs very little protein over time is manufactured using a resin composition including 50 to 99 wt % of a norbornene-based polymer, and 1 to 50 wt % of a hydrogenated styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, a content of a low-molecular-weight component having a weight average molecular weight of 1000 or less in the resin composition being 3 wt % or less.
BIOABSORBABLE POLYMERIC COMPOSITION FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE
A crystallized bioabsorbable polymer scaffold comprises a polymer composition of poly (L-lactide-co-tri-methylene-carbonate) or poly (D-lactide-co-tri-methylene-carbonate) or poly (L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) or poly (D-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) in the form of block copolymers of blocky copolymers, wherein the scaffold is cold-bendable.
Lining material for pipelines
A tubular lining material for reinforcing pipelines, utilizable in a pipe-lining method wherein the tubular lining material, having a binder disposed on the inner surface thereof, is inserted into a pipeline and is allowed to advance within the pipeline as the tubular lining material is turned inside out under fluid pressure whereby the tubular lining material is applied to the inner surface of the pipeline with the binder being interposed between the pipeline and the tubular lining material, said tubular lining material including an outer layer of an impervious material and provided on the inside thereof with an inner reinforcing tubular jacket wherein the inner reinforcing tubular jacket includes at least two sheets of high tensile strength and/or high modulus fibers and wherein the sheets overlap at least two locations and wherein said overlap portions extend in the lengthwise direction of the inner tubular jacket.
Injection-molded composite construct
A frame is injection molded onto a group of panels to form a container. The panels extend at least partially around, and at least partially define, a cavity of the container.
COMPOSITE PREFORM, COMPOSITE CONTAINER, COMPOSITE PREFORM, PLASTIC MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE CONTAINER
[Problem] To provide: a composite container which can be given various functions and characteristics; a method for producing such composite container; a preform; and a composite preform.
[Solution] A composite container according to the present invention includes: a container body which is made of a plastic material; and a plastic member disposed on the outer surface of the container body, wherein the container body and the plastic member are integrally inflated by means of blow molding, and wherein the plastic member includes a colored layer and/or a print layer where a print is made.
Heat-shrinkable laminated film, molded product and heat-shrinkable label comprising the film, and container
A heat-shrinkable laminated film having: (A) layer mainly having a polyester series resin; (C) layer mainly having a polystyrene series resin or mixture of polyester series and polystyrene series resins; and (B) layer mainly having polyester series and polystyrene series resins and disposed between (A) and (C) layers, the film having excellent heat-shrinkability, transparency, and interlayer-adhesiveness at room temperature, not easily peeled in a high-temperature treatment, inhibited from whitening when bent during processing, and suitable for shrinkage-packaging, shrink-bond-packaging, etc., with (B) layer having: a hard polyester series resin or mixture of hard polyester series and soft polyester series resins; and soft styrene series resin, hard styrene series resin, or mixture thereof, or with a content of the (B) layer polyester series resin smaller than that of the (A) layer one, and a content of the (C) layer polyester series resin smaller than that of the (B) layer one.
