Pressure-sensitive adhesive composition
Provided are a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, a protective film, an optical device, and a display device. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition may exhibit suitable low speed and high speed peel-off strengths after forming a crosslinking structure, and have an excellent balance between them. Accordingly, the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition may exhibit an excellent protective effect when applied to a protective film, may be easily peeled in a high speed peel-off and thus advantageous for the high speed process, and may exhibit an excellent antistatic characteristic.
FOAM GASKET AND BONDING TAPE BASED ON POLYURETHANE DISPERSIONS
A polymer sheet includes a polyurethane core. The polyurethane core has a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The polymer sheet can have at least one functional layer overlying a major surface. The polymer sheet has a thickness t.sub.PS. The polyurethane core has a thickness t.sub.PC. In embodiments t.sub.PC can be at least 0.3 t.sub.PS. The polyurethane core can have at least one of the following property: (i) a Scratch Resistance Rating, as further described herein, of not greater than about 10 wt %, (ii) an elongation at break of at least 200%, (iii) a tensile strength at break of at least 0.3 MPa, (iv) a loss of tensile strength of not greater than about 30% when exposed to UV light according to standard SAE J1960 (Rev. August 2003).
The polymer sheet can be used for gaskets or bonding tapes.

ADHESIVE LAYER-EQUIPPED TRANSPARENT SURFACE MATERIAL, DISPLAY DEVICE AND PROCESSES FOR THEIR PRODUCTION
Provided is an adhesive layer-equipped transparent surface material that can easily be bonded to another surface material (a display panel, etc.) and that, when bonded to another surface material, is less likely to have voids left at the interface between the adhesive layer and another surface material. An adhesive layer-equipped transparent surface material 1 comprises an adhesive layer 14 formed on at least one surface of a protective plate 10 (a transparent surface material), wherein the adhesive layer 14 has a layer portion 18 spreading over the surface of the protective plate 10 and a barrier portion 20 surrounding the periphery of the layer portion 18; and the layer portion 18 has a shear modulus at 35 C. of from 0.5 to 100 kPa.
Method and means for protecting a windshield from further damage before repair is possible
The invention could be a windshield repair kit comprising a laminate having a protective barrier film, an adhesive layer, and a peel-able cover, the protective barrier film having at least one side to which the adhesive layer is applied, the adhesive layer being capable of cured in a presence of a UV light; the peel-able cover removably covering one or more exposed portions of the adhesive layer; a covering that removably receives the laminate, the covering reducing the transmission of UV light to the adhesive layer to a level that prevents the UV activation of the adhesive layer while the laminate is within the covering.
Layered Removable Graffiti Skin
Improvements in a graffiti covering skin are disclosed the covering skin is formed from multiple layers of transparent or filtering layers that can be individually removed to provide a new layer without graffiti or damage. Each layer of the skin provides different functions to provide a material that covers existing graffiti and creates a new surface that reduces or repels future graffiti from being placed on the original host surface. One of the layers can be a visual pattern layer that provides the desired appearance of a hard surface of stainless steel, mirror, wood, color, marble, granite or light filtering. This layer provides a structural rigidity that maintains dimensional stability. The skin is backed with a removable adhesive that is removed from a host surface without leaving a residue. Each skin is measured and cut to the desired size before placement on the host surface.
