Label sheet design for easy removal of labels
A label sheet (1) having a release liner (16) and a column of labels (12) releasably adhered thereto is modified to allow easy removal of the labels. The liner has a weakened separation line (30) formed by cuts and ties running underneath a column of labels near the edge of the labels, and notches (18) at the top and bottom of the sheet aligned with the cuts and ties. A matrix (14) surrounding the labels, if present, also has cuts and ties, with the cuts and ties in the matrix parallel to and slightly offset from the cuts and ties in the liner. The separation lines are strong enough that the label sheet can be fed through a printer, yet weak enough that a user can tear off the liner and matrix along the separation lines, thus leaving a minor edge of a column of labels exposed for easy removal from the label sheet.
CERAMIC-METAL STRUCTURE
A ceramic-metal structure in which a metallic body (2) is inserted into or disposed above a through hole (4h) of a ceramic substrate (4) and which includes an annular pad layer (6) disposed around the through hole; an annular ring member (8) joined to the pad layer via a first brazing filler portion (10) and having a coefficient of thermal expansion smaller than that of the metallic body; a second brazing filler portion (12) intervening between the ring member and metallic body; and brazing filler flow prevention layers (7a, 7b) covering an outer surface of the pad layer so as to expose a central region (6c) of the outer surface of the pad layer facing the first brazing filler portion. The first brazing filler portion joins the central region and the ring member without projecting to a radially inner or outer side of the flow prevention layers.
Luminescent Braze Preforms
A braze preform includes a filler metal, a flux in communication with the filler metal, and a luminescent material covering at least a portion of the filler metal. The luminescent material is equal to or less than 0.15% total weight of the braze ring. Further, the luminescent material includes at least one of a luminescent ink, a solvent, and a binder. The solvent may be one of a bromide-based solvent or a non-chlorine-based solvent. The binder may be an acrylic resin.
Luminescent braze preforms
A braze preform is provided that includes a filler metal and a luminescent material that covers at least a portion of the filler metal and that can luminesce when exposed to a black light. The luminescent material may include a luminescent ink and a solvent that are mixed together before being applied to filler metal. Presence of the braze preform may be determined using automated equipment by detecting luminescence of the braze preform with a sensor. A decision may be made on whether to advance a parts assembly for brazing based on the determination of presence or absence of the braze preform on such parts assembly.
INSERT DESIGNED TO BE FITTED ON A SUPPORT AND FIXING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING ONE SUCH INSERT
Insert designed to be fitted on a support, including a body extending along a longitudinal axis and a base including at least one plate extending along a base plane, at least one through hole oriented along an orientation axis perpendicular to the base plane being formed in said at least one plate, at least one protuberance being formed on a first surface of said at least one plate and forming a hollow on a second surface of said at least one plate.
HEAT AND VIBRATION MOUNTING ISOLATOR FOR A HEAT SHIELD, HEAT SHIELD ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
An isolator for damping heat and vibrations between a heat shield and heat source is provided. The isolator includes a housing and a washer. The housing surrounds a center opening and extends axially from a first end portion to a second end portion and includes an intermediate portion therebetween. The housing has a serpentine shape. The first end portion and the intermediate portion of the housing clamp a washer therebetween, and the second end portion and the intermediate portion of the housing clamp the heat shield therebetween. The washer includes a plurality of through openings between an outer periphery and the center opening for enhancing vibration dampening and minimizing heat transfer from the heat source to the heat shield. The isolator optionally includes a collar member disposed along the center opening of the washer to facilitate mounting of the isolator to the heat source.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF AN ANNULAR INSERT MOLDED ARTICLE
The present invention is intended to provide an annular insert molded article that suppresses contamination of a metal mold and generation of foreign matter without increase in material costs for an adhesive or contamination of a transfer jig, and has a high adhesion strength so that, when the annular insert molded article is attached to a rotating body, the adhesive does not peel off from the insert or remain as foreign matter in the rotating body, and a manufacturing method thereof.
An annular insert molded article 1 is manufactured by injection molding in a state where a thermoset resin adhesive A is applied to a joining surface of an annular insert 2 attachable to a rotating body to an annular plastic 3 and then the annular insert 2 and the annular plastic 3 are placed in a metal mold, wherein the range of the adhesive A applied to the annular insert 2 is a range not going beyond boundaries B1 and B2 with the annular plastic 3 by more than 3 mm, and the range does not include a portion C of the annular insert 2 to be fitted with the rotating body.
EPI pre-heat ring
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a process chamber having a pre-heat ring for heating the process gas. In one embodiment, the process chamber includes a chamber body defining an interior processing region, a substrate support disposed within the chamber body, the substrate support having a substrate support surface for supporting a substrate, and a pre-heat ring positioned on a ring support disposed within the chamber body, wherein a portion of the pre-heat ring is tilted downwardly by a predetermined angle towards the gas exhaust side with respect to the substrate support surface to promote the purge gas flowing more through the gas exhaust side than the gas injection side.
Heat Molded, Transparent Baffle For Instrumental Sound Deflection
A heat molded, transparent baffle for instrumental sound deflection is disclosed. The Baffle is a single, molded shield that reflects the sound in any direction the audio engineer decides. It is quickly mounted in one minute, transparent, and ready for sound check.
Method and apparatus for spiral cutting a glass tube using filamentation by burst ultrafast laser pulses
A method of producing a spiral cut transparent tube using laser machining includes using an ultrafast laser beam comprising a burst of laser pulses and focusing the laser beam on the transparent tube to enable relative movement between the laser beam and the transparent tube by moving the laser beam, the glass tube or both the laser beam and the glass tube. A beam waist is formed external to the surface of the transparent tube wherein the laser pulses and sufficient energy density is maintained within the transparent tube to form a continuous laser filament therethrough without causing optical breakdown. The method and delivery system makes a spiral cut in the transparent tube.
