Weighted transaction cards and methods of manufacturing the same. The weighted transaction cards may include a tungsten member that comprises at least a portion of a layer of the transaction card. The tungsten member may be encapsulated and/or disposed in an opening of a surround to define an inlay. The inlay may be laminated with one or more additional layers according to traditional card manufacturing techniques (e.g., a hot lamination process). The weighted transaction cards may have a weight significantly greater than traditional plastic transaction cards.

Shrink Film for Label

A shrink film comprising a core layer comprising a glycol modified polyester, the core having an upper and lower surface; an upper skin layer disposed on the upper surface of the core layer and a lower skin layer disposed on the lower surface of the core layer, the skin layers each individually comprising (a) a resin material; and (b) an antiblocking agent.

Panel member for an airframe

The disclosure relates to a composite panel member for an airframe of an aircraft or spacecraft, the composite panel member having a laminated or sandwich structure including: a first outer layer extending over a first side of the panel member; a second outer layer extending over a second side of the panel member; a core layer between the first and second outer layers; and at least one support element configured as an electrical conductor and provided within the core layer between the first and second outer layers. In this regard, the at least one support element extends within the core layer substantially parallel to the first and second outer layers.

High performance organic, inorganic or hybrid seals

The present invention describes a new method for creating hybrid edge seals using metal, alloy, powder coated metal and other conductive surfaces in between two substrates. The methods utilize various materials, seal designs, and geometries of hybrid seals based on polymeric powder coatings and glass powder coatings.

Engineered waterproof plastic composite flooring and wall covering planks

Waterproof engineered floor and wall planks have a veneer layer bonded with a plastic composite core, and an underlayer, preferably an underlayer of cork.

Rigid substrate, touch panel, and processing method of rigid substrate

A rigid substrate, a touch panel including the rigid substrate and a processing method of the rigid substrate are provided. The rigid substrate includes an ion strengthened surface layer completely covering the entire outer surface thereof. The rigid substrate has an etched wall, wherein an average depth of the ion strengthened surface layer on the etched wall is substantially equivalent to an average depth of the ion strengthened surface layer outside of the etched wall.

Inorganic graded barrier film and methods for their manufacture

The present invention refers to a graded barrier film comprising a layered structure, wherein the layered structure comprises a first layer consisting of metal oxide; an intermediate layer consisting of metal nitride or metal oxynitride which is arranged on the first layer; and a third layer consisting of a metal oxide which is arranged on the intermediate layer. The present invention further refers to a sputtering method for manufacturing this graded barrier film and a device encapsulated with this graded barrier film.
