ARTIFICIAL TURF INFILL WITH NATURAL FIBER AND RUBBER GRANULATE
An artificial turf includes an artificial turf infill. The artificial turf infill includes natural fiber mixed with rubber granulate. The artificial turf infill includes between 10% and 40% of the natural fiber by weight. The natural fiber includes any one of hemp fiber, cotton fiber, burlap fiber, sisal fiber, elephant grass fiber, or combinations thereof.
INFILL MATERIAL FOR SYNTHETIC TURFS AND SYNTHETIC TURFS SO OBTAINED
Synthetic turf (1) comprising a mat (2) equipped with a first face (2a), which in use is arranged next to a surface (50) to coat, and with a second face (2b) opposite to the first face (2a). The synthetic turf (1) comprises, furthermore, a plurality of filaments (3) knitted to the mat (2) and made of a synthetic material. Above the second face (2b) of the mat (2), furthermore, an infill material (10) is present that is arranged all around the filaments (3) of artificial material. The infill material (10) comprises, in particular at least one layer (15) consisting of a mixture of a predetermined amount of cereal husks, such as rice husks, husks of wheat, husks of rye, husks of oat, husks of spelt, or a combination thereof, and wood sawdust obtained by a raw material with high content of lignin, such as Teak sawdust, Mahogany sawdust, Iroko sawdust, or a combination thereof.
ARTIFICIAL TURF INFILL WITH NATURAL FIBER AND RUBBER GRANULATE

The natural fiber includes any one of hemp fiber, cotton fiber, burlap fiber, sisal fiber, elephant grass fiber, or combinations thereof.
COMPOSITE ARTIFICIAL TURF INFILL
The artificial turf infill includes composite infill components. The infill components include a water absorbent yarn. The water absorbent yarn is covered with a jacket. The jacket is formed from an elastomeric compound. The jacket includes at least one opening. The at least one opening exposes the water absorbent yarn.
Synthetic turf system made with antistatic yarns and method of making
A synthetic turf system and method includes turf tufted from monofilament fibers of a thermoplastic polymer where about 1 in about 32 tuft rows comprise at least one antistatic filament per tuft. Each antistatic filament has a first nonconductive polymeric component coextensive with a second non-conductive component. One or more of the antistatic filaments substantially reduces static electrical discharge within the turf. The thermoplastic polymer for each fiber may comprise at least one of nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester. Each tuft of the tufted turf may be twisted and each tuft may be slit to form multiple ends. The turf system may comprise stitched turf. Each antistatic filament may comprise a carbon core surrounded by a non-conductive sheath, wherein a ratio of the antistatic filament per number of tuft rows may comprise at least one of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
ARTIFICIAL TURF COMPRISING AN AGGLOMERATE INFILL
An artificial turf surface includes an artificial turf carpet with a pile, wherein the artificial turf carpet includes a backing. The artificial turf carpet further includes artificial grass fibers. The artificial grass fibers are tufted into the backing. The artificial grass fibers form the pile. The artificial grass fibers are secured to the backing. The artificial turf surface further includes an artificial turf infill distributed within the pile, wherein the artificial turf infill includes irregularly shaped grains, wherein the grains include an agglomerate including at least one type of non-elastomeric thermoplastic. At least a portion of the grains have fibrous extensions.
Artificial turf mat and method for manufacturing thereof
An artificial turf mat includes a backing and a plurality of protruding artificial grass blades divided into rows and connected to the backing. The mutual distance between successive blades in a row is substantially equal to the distance between adjacent rows and is at least 10 mm. The backing and the blades may be formed and mutually connected by weaving. A method for forming an artificial turf mat includes supplying a backing material, supplying an artificial turf material, forming a backing from the backing material, and connecting blades of the artificial turf material divided into rows to the backing. The blades may be connected to the backing such that their mutual spacing in a row is substantially equal to the mutual distance between adjacent rows and is at least 10 mm.
ARTIFICIAL TURF FIELD SYSTEM
An artificial turf field system is provided. The system may include a plurality of synthetic turf strands attached to a backing layer and an infill material positioned between the synthetic turf stands. The infill material may include a plurality of porous particles. A sub-layer may be included beneath the backing layer, and may be formed of a resilient material. A support layer may be included beneath the sub-layer, and may include materials configured for drainage. The porous particles of the infill material may include porous ceramic particles and the sub-layer may include rubber. The porous particles may be at least partially coated, for example, by a polymer coating. The infill material may be free of sand and/or crumb rubber.
Infill for synthetic and hybrid turfs and turfs so obtained
A synthetic turf having a mat with a face arranged adjacent to a surface to coat, and a face opposite the face. The turf includes a plurality of blades made of a synthetic material that are connected to the mat. Above the face of the mat, an infill material is provided that is arranged among the blades. The infill material includes a predetermined percentage by volume of a vegetable material consisting of rachis of cereal ear. The infill material also includes a predetermined percentage by volume of a ligninic and/or resinous material of vegetable origin.
